Role Purpose

The Senior Manager Digital Ad Ops plays a major part in the strategic development and enablement of our precision marketing proposition within the business.

The role manages the advertising operations team, overseeing scheduling, implementation and optimisation of all advertising campaigns in order to ensure accurate and timely execution across all digital channels.

The role traffics and manages these campaigns by working with sales departments, advertisers, technology teams and clients to ensure smooth delivery of the campaign, while regularly generating ad server reports that communicate a campaign’s status and directly inform the team’s next steps. This role manages a team of specialists in ad platforms and traffic operations and maintains a seamless and efficient way of working between the ad operation team and the wider business.

Role Description

  • Leads and ensures the smooth execution of the day-to-day activities within the ad ops department.
  • Serves as the main point of contact between the advertising operations department and the account management team.
  • Leads innovation for the team, enabling constant improvement in performance and thereby continuous achievement of sales and overall business targets.
  • Deploys sophisticated tools and processes that are best suited for the business to achieve its digital channel objectives.
  • Provides guidance and knowledge transfer on latest trends in digital marketing techniques, ad-serving methodologies, new technologies, and existing systems.
  • Uses data sets from existing campaigns to influence strategies for upcoming campaigns, in addition to considering performance metrics, behavioral and transactional targeting, to ensure improved ROAS for our clients.
  • Works with the sales, content and strategy team in defining the planning, inventory management, prioritisation, testing, scheduling, and delivery of advertising programs and campaigns.
  • Monitors campaign delivery to ensure campaigns are running as expected and provides troubleshooting support for traffic issues.
  • Analyses data, generates insights, prepares recommendations, and performs periodic optimizations that leads to increased sales, improved campaign performance and the achievement of the business’ overall objectives.
  • Reviews dashboards and ad campaign performances in order to generate informed, fact-based solutions that efficiently increase the performance of the clients' campaigns.
  • Establishes processes and protocols for pre-launch prep work, including performing quality assurance on ad tags and creatives.
  • Identifies, establishes, and implements the business’ best practices on advertising campaign set-up, optimisation, measurement, and reporting.
  • Troubleshoots tracking problems, develops solutions, and documents internal procedures for the campaign management team to adhere to in the execution of departmental duties.

Qualifications and experience

  • Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Advertising, Media, Sales or related.
  • +7 years’ experience in a similar capacity or role in a retailer, brand or agency firm with a depth of understanding of ad-serving capabilities, measurement, app implementation, creative processes, dynamic ads, campaign management and digital media planning and buying processes – essential.
  • Strong knowledge of the latest digital media platforms and solutions to know the scope at which advertisement campaigns should run – essential.
  • Substantial experience managing a team through an advertising campaign from conceptualisation to the achievement of its set goals – essential.
  • Strong knowledge of analytical methodologies and tactics for optimising data driven marketing campaigns (i.e., segmentation, predictive response models, etc.) - desired.
  • Experience troubleshooting ad serving technical issues, for example, delivery investigation and third-party media issues, inclusive of the identification of several tag types, e.g., HTML and JavaScript, and potential issues associated with each - desired.
  • Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated understanding of the media landscape and different online advertising pricing structures (CPC, CPM, CPA, etc.) - essential.
  • Solid knowledge of Marketing principles, audience targeting, data collection and programmatic methods – essential.
  • Knowledge of Ad Tech products, data vendors, industry, third party technology, and market trends - essential.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office – essential.

Role Description

Store Operations

Ensures a strong relationship is formed with all staff related to Sixty60 Operations:

  • Act as hands on support to branches and Help Centre to resolve operational issues.
  • Conduct regular store visits to drive performance and ensure processes and procedures are followed.
  • Conduct store operational audits to ensure compliance.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies through GAP / SWOT analysis.
  • Communicate store audit findings and ensure resolution thereof.
  • Attend store openings and support with the execution of the entire operational process.
  • Coordinate the distribution of marketing material for new store openings.
  • Implement operations flow from order injection to stores to handover to the driver and return and conduct product checks to increase the percentage of online orders.

Driver Network Compliance

Forge and maintain a good relationship with 3rd party delivery partners and staff:

  • Visit stores to perform daily, weekly, monthly audits of the delivery network.
  • Meet with compliance officers in the field to ensure agreed upon checks are conducted
  • Ensure drivers obtain and maintain a good public image.
  • Investigate driver complaints / discipline issues and resolve to completion.
  • Ensure handover processes are adhered to.
  • Conduct GAP and root-cause analysis to resolve any network complexities.
  • Provide proactive, fast, and reliable feedback on queries and resolutions.

Training and Development

  • Conduct needs analysis to understand training and development needs.
  • Execute / facilitate training of new or existing processes.
  • Draw up operational process flows and standard operational procedures as required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree of Diploma in Business, Retail Management, eCommerce or related – (preferred).
  • +1 years’ experience in a similar capacity or role, executing store operations processes in a retail environment – (essential).
  • Experience executing supply chain and logistics processes within a retail operations environment – (essential).
  • Experience executing and facilitating training of retail operational procedures – (essential).
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365 with well-developed Excel skills – (essential).

Job Description:

As a Digital Marketing Specialist & Social Media Manager at Born and Bred, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and executing digital marketing strategies while creating engaging content that drives brand awareness, customer engagement, and measurable business outcomes. Working closely with our creative team, you will translate client briefs and marketing strategies into engaging Digital strategic concepts that resonate with our clients' target audiences.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies tailored to client objectives, including SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing, and other online campaigns.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and audience insights to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Design and execute campaigns to drive traffic, engagement, and conversion across multiple platforms.
  • Monitor and evaluate campaign performance, using analytics to optimize strategies and meet KPIs.
  • Conceptualize, create, and curate high-quality, on-brand digital content, including blogs, social media posts, graphics, videos, and email newsletters.
  • Collaborate with designers and copywriters to produce compelling visuals & copy that complement content and enhance the user experience.
  • Collaborate with account managers and creative teams to ensure alignment with overall client objectives
  • Plan and manage content calendars, ensuring timely delivery of engaging content that aligns with campaign goals and client expectations.
  • Leverage storytelling techniques to develop content that resonates with target audiences and builds brand loyalty.

3. Campaign Management and Optimization:

  • Plan, launch, and manage digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels (email, social, search, display, etc.).
  • Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels.
  • Oversee social media accounts, including scheduling, publishing, and engaging with audiences to foster community growth.
  • Conduct A/B testing to refine ad creatives, landing pages, and email campaigns for optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between campaigns, client objectives, and overall strategy.
  • Monitor campaign performance metrics and adjust tactics to improve results.
  • Ensure campaigns are delivered on time and within budget while meeting client expectations.

4.Analytics and Reporting:

  • Use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, HubSpot) to track, measure, and report on the performance of campaigns and content.
  • Prepare detailed reports with actionable insights for clients and stakeholders, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
  • Continuously monitor key metrics such as traffic, engagement, conversion rates, and ROI to inform decision-making.

5. Emerging Trends and Technologies:

  • Stay updated on digital marketing trends, algorithm changes, and emerging technologies.
  • Experiment with new tools, platforms, and techniques to ensure campaigns remain cutting-edge and effective.
  • Share industry insights and recommendations with the team to maintain a competitive edge

6. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) & Paid Advertising (PPC)

  • Implement SEO best practices to improve organic search rankings and client website traffic.
  • Manage pay-per-click (PPC) advertising campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads and Meta Ads.
  • Conduct keyword research and audience targeting to optimize campaign performance.
  • Analyze ad performance data and adjust campaigns to improve ROI and meet client KPIs.

7. Client Collaboration and Support:

  • Act as a digital marketing expert, advising clients on strategies and best practices.
  • Attend client meetings to present campaign plans, updates, and performance reports.
  • Build strong client relationships by delivering exceptional results and demonstrating expertise.

8. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with creative, copywriting, design, and account management teams to ensure seamless execution of campaigns.
  • Align digital efforts with broader advertising strategies to maintain consistency and impact.

9. Project Management and Execution:

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing or Social Media Management.
  • 5 years of experience within this role.
  • Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/Social media, etc.) and market research methods
  • Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools
  • Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite and CRM), and applications (Web analytics, Google Adwords, etc.)
  • Comprehensive understanding of top social media platforms
  • In-depth knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO)
  • Familiarity with different types of social media content
  • Ability to create targeted audiences and conduct A/B testing
  • Proficient with social media management tools, such as reposting apps and scheduling utilities
  • Excellent creative thinking, conceptualization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
