Role Purpose

The purpose of the eCommerce Operations Specialist role is to execute operational efficiency across an assigned area and support the delivery of the operational goals and objectives of the eCommerce chapter. The role forms part of an operations team, ensuring the effectiveness of store and distribution operations through streamlining processes and executing training and development. The eCommerce Operations Specialist further supports efficient store operations by conducting frequent store visits, ensuring compliance to operational processes and service standards in store and across driver networks as well as investigating operational inefficiencies and identifying opportunities for improvements. The eCommerce Operations Specialist is an individual who is passionate about the customer and therefore drives processes to ensure the area is fulfilling its promises within agreed service level standards.

Role Description

Store Operations

Ensures a strong relationship is formed with all staff related to Sixty60 Operations:

  • Act as hands on support to branches and Help Centre to resolve operational issues.
  • Conduct regular store visits to drive performance and ensure processes and procedures are followed.
  • Conduct store operational audits to ensure compliance.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies through GAP / SWOT analysis.
  • Communicate store audit findings and ensure resolution thereof.
  • Attend store openings and support with the execution of the entire operational process.
  • Coordinate the distribution of marketing material for new store openings.
  • Implement operations flow from order injection to stores to handover to the driver and return and conduct product checks to increase the percentage of online orders.

Driver Network Compliance

Forge and maintain a good relationship with 3rd party delivery partners and staff:

  • Visit stores to perform daily, weekly, monthly audits of the delivery network.
  • Meet with compliance officers in the field to ensure agreed upon checks are conducted
  • Ensure drivers obtain and maintain a good public image.
  • Investigate driver complaints / discipline issues and resolve to completion.
  • Ensure handover processes are adhered to.
  • Conduct GAP and root-cause analysis to resolve any network complexities.
  • Provide proactive, fast, and reliable feedback on queries and resolutions.

Training and Development

  • Conduct needs analysis to understand training and development needs.
  • Execute / facilitate training of new or existing processes.
  • Draw up operational process flows and standard operational procedures as required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree of Diploma in Business, Retail Management, eCommerce or related – (preferred).
  • +1 years’ experience in a similar capacity or role, executing store operations processes in a retail environment – (essential).
  • Experience executing supply chain and logistics processes within a retail operations environment – (essential).
  • Experience executing and facilitating training of retail operational procedures – (essential).
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365 with well-developed Excel skills – (essential).

    Job Description:

    As a Digital Marketing Specialist & Social Media Manager at Born and Bred, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and executing digital marketing strategies while creating engaging content that drives brand awareness, customer engagement, and measurable business outcomes. Working closely with our creative team, you will translate client briefs and marketing strategies into engaging Digital strategic concepts that resonate with our clients' target audiences.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies tailored to client objectives, including SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing, and other online campaigns.
    • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and audience insights to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
    • Design and execute campaigns to drive traffic, engagement, and conversion across multiple platforms.
    • Monitor and evaluate campaign performance, using analytics to optimize strategies and meet KPIs.
    • Conceptualize, create, and curate high-quality, on-brand digital content, including blogs, social media posts, graphics, videos, and email newsletters.
    • Collaborate with designers and copywriters to produce compelling visuals & copy that complement content and enhance the user experience.
    • Collaborate with account managers and creative teams to ensure alignment with overall client objectives
    • Plan and manage content calendars, ensuring timely delivery of engaging content that aligns with campaign goals and client expectations.
    • Leverage storytelling techniques to develop content that resonates with target audiences and builds brand loyalty.

    3. Campaign Management and Optimization:

    • Plan, launch, and manage digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels (email, social, search, display, etc.).
    • Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels.
    • Oversee social media accounts, including scheduling, publishing, and engaging with audiences to foster community growth.
    • Conduct A/B testing to refine ad creatives, landing pages, and email campaigns for optimal performance.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between campaigns, client objectives, and overall strategy.
    • Monitor campaign performance metrics and adjust tactics to improve results.
    • Ensure campaigns are delivered on time and within budget while meeting client expectations.

    4.Analytics and Reporting:

    • Use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, HubSpot) to track, measure, and report on the performance of campaigns and content.
    • Prepare detailed reports with actionable insights for clients and stakeholders, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
    • Continuously monitor key metrics such as traffic, engagement, conversion rates, and ROI to inform decision-making.

    5. Emerging Trends and Technologies:

    • Stay updated on digital marketing trends, algorithm changes, and emerging technologies.
    • Experiment with new tools, platforms, and techniques to ensure campaigns remain cutting-edge and effective.
    • Share industry insights and recommendations with the team to maintain a competitive edge

    6. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) & Paid Advertising (PPC)

    • Implement SEO best practices to improve organic search rankings and client website traffic.
    • Manage pay-per-click (PPC) advertising campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads and Meta Ads.
    • Conduct keyword research and audience targeting to optimize campaign performance.
    • Analyze ad performance data and adjust campaigns to improve ROI and meet client KPIs.

    7. Client Collaboration and Support:

    • Act as a digital marketing expert, advising clients on strategies and best practices.
    • Attend client meetings to present campaign plans, updates, and performance reports.
    • Build strong client relationships by delivering exceptional results and demonstrating expertise.

    8. Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Work closely with creative, copywriting, design, and account management teams to ensure seamless execution of campaigns.
    • Align digital efforts with broader advertising strategies to maintain consistency and impact.

    9. Project Management and Execution:

    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing or Social Media Management.
    • 5 years of experience within this role.
    • Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/Social media, etc.) and market research methods
    • Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools
    • Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite and CRM), and applications (Web analytics, Google Adwords, etc.)
    • Comprehensive understanding of top social media platforms
    • In-depth knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO)
    • Familiarity with different types of social media content
    • Ability to create targeted audiences and conduct A/B testing
    • Proficient with social media management tools, such as reposting apps and scheduling utilities
    • Excellent creative thinking, conceptualization, and problem-solving skills.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to take ownership of projects and drive them to successful completion.

The Digital Marketing Specialist responsible for all digital marketing campaigns, including generating leads, conducting market research and actively engaging with the business to optimize the performance of our digital strategies.

    Qualifications

    • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, or a related field.
    • Proven track record in planning and executing backlink campaigns.
    • Strong knowledge of Google Analytics, backlink tools, and SEO best practices.
    • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • In-depth understanding of ranking factors, search engine algorithms, and SEO reporting.
    • Proficiency with SEO tools such as SEMRush, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other relevant platforms.

    Responsibilities
