• Source and evaluate tenders, including evaluation with respect to risk and opportunity
• Identify new business opportunities across South Africa
• Assist in preparing estimates for projects, including cost plans, resolution of discrepancies
• Analyse project drawings, specifications and related documents to accurately prepare material, labour and equipment cost estimates
• Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes and negotiate pricing.
• Prepare tender documents, budgets, contracts, BOQs and all related documentation
• Update and maintain database of material, labour and subcontractor pricing
• Develop and manage project budgets and provide continuous cost tracking and report accordingly
• Attend project meetings to gather insights and understanding of the project requirements
• Work with project teams to ensure the timely completion of estimates, proposals and O&M manuals
• New business development

• 3 years experience in Cost Estimates, Cost Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or related field
• Diploma or Degree preferable, but candidates with proven experience will be considered
• Strong research, analytical and numerical skills, with high level attention to detail
• Knowledge of construction contracts, methods, and HVAC systems is required
• Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

To manage the execution of IT projects in accordance with the specified and agreed upon scope, timeframe, budget, and quality requirements. To monitor adherence to project management governance, principles, standards, and methodologies.

• Define project plans incorporating scope, budget, and timeframes to ensure quality and successful project execution.
• Manage the delivery of multiple, large-scale, projects to successful completion in accordance with scope, budget, timeframe, and service level agreements.
• Monitor governance and quality of the projects, including adoption of PMO methodologies, principles, tools, standards, and processes.
• Provide onsite guidance for the project team to build and motivate team members to meet project milestones. Resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables.
