Bitcube is launching an exciting new
Software Development Trainee Program

, designed to grow the next generation of developers. Up to
12 trainees

will be selected for the first intake. Over four months, you'll gain structured, hands-on experience in multiple areas of modern software development while working closely with mentors and real project backlogs.

At the end of the program, the top-performing trainees will be
promoted to Interns

. As an Intern, you'll work on real-world projects with international teams for an additional 7 months, gaining deep practical experience, with scheduled breaks to recharge.

Program Overview

The Trainee Program blends structured learning with project-based teamwork, supported by Bitcube mentors and facilitators. You'll cover:

  • Bespoke Software Development

– foundations, frontend, APIs, testing, Git, CI/CD
- Mobile App Development

– Flutter/React Native basics, platform-specific quirks
- Shopify & eCommerce

– theme development, Liquid basics, integrations, conversion fundamentals
- Project Pods

– working in small groups with realistic backlogs based on Bitcube case studies, with demo days each sprint
- Real world scenarios

– spec reviews, code reviews, QA sign-off, and deployment simulations to mirror real-world processes

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
  • Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
  • Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent, or 5+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) experience
