Cultivate and manage objective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including end-users, SME's, project managers and senior staff members.
Accurate and timely delivery of all Financial and Non-Financial MIS for the business to ensure better decision-making.
Comply with governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements.
Ensure accurate and timely delivery of all Revenue Analysis for the business.
Accurate and timely delivery of source files to Business Intelligence Unit to ensure business have relevant information to maximise business opportunities.
Improve business decisions by providing accurate and reliable business intelligence (information) together with analyzing trends and data (monthly) for business.
Manage own development to increase own competencies.

Our client is looking for a Risk Analyst – Data Integrity Specialist to join their team based in Cape Town. This is an exciting opportunity to support investment management and enterprise risk management processes, focusing on quantitative and risk analytics to drive informed decision-making across asset allocation and financial risk.
Responsibilities
- Provide clear communication of risk and performance drivers to stakeholders
- Conduct analysis and oversight of portfolio stress testing and performance results
- Build, enhance, and maintain risk and analytics tools to support investment and risk platforms
- Monitor market trends and gather industry data to support financial risk management initiatives
- Perform daily validation checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of investment data, including securities, holdings, transactions, ratings, classifications, cashflows, and sensitivities
- Identify and correct data inconsistencies or errors, implementing preventative measures for future data quality issues
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen data quality, reporting accuracy, and risk assessments, particularly in complex asset classes such as Private Equity, Private Credit, and Asset-Based Finance
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of data processes and controls in line with best practices
- Provide guidance and knowledge-sharing to team members on data integrity standards and methodologies
- Collaborate with risk and investment teams across multiple regions, with potential opportunity to lead a small local team of analysts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Risk, or a related field
- Experience in risk management, investment management, banking, (re)insurance, or related financial services industries
- Knowledge and experience with fixed income products
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present emerging risk issues to management and stakeholders
- Solid technical and project management capabilities, with the ability to work independently across global teams
- Background in data management, data quality, or analytics within the financial sector
- Proficient in MS Office (particularly Excel for data analysis and manipulation); exposure to SQL or similar tools advantageous
