We are in need of an accountant at our offices outside Durbanville.

Responsibilities:

  1. Stock reconciliation and journals
  2. Assisting on stock takes
  3. Check if invoices are SARS compliant
  4. Month end journals
  5. Intercompany invoices and calculation thereof
  6. Maintain Hire Purchases and monthly allocation
  7. Capture new assets on Hire Purchase agreement
  8. Maintain large Fixed Asset Register on a monthly basis (4 companies)
  9. Calculation of depreciation and monthly journals
  10. Opening balance journals after audit
  11. Recon internal loan accounts
  12. Rental invoicing and collection of rent
  13. Assist FM with yearly audit
  14. Handle the full function on four smaller entities

Essential Requirements:

  1. Well organized and adaptable
  2. Good communication skills telephonically or via e-mail with clients
  3. Matric with the necessary degree
  4. At least 5 years experience
  5. Own reliable transport
  6. Speak and write Afrikaans & English fluently
  7. Willingness to work overtime at month end
  8. Strong work ethic and sober habits
