About the Role
As a Data Conversion Consultant, you'll be responsible for ensuring the accurate, timely, and secure transformation of legacy HR and Payroll data into Dayforce or other target systems. You'll work closely with clients to manage extraction, mapping, validation, and loading — helping them trust their data in the new world.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Lead the end-to-end data migration process across multiple workstreams
- Liaise with clients to gather legacy data and ensure completeness
- Develop transformation scripts, templates, and validation routines
- Collaborate with functional consultants to validate mapping against design
- Troubleshoot issues and support clients during data reconciliation
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the data migration toolkit
What You Bring
- Strong experience in data migration, ideally in HRIS or payroll contexts
- Advanced Excel and XML skills; exposure to ETL tools or scripting languages is a plus
- Understanding of HR data models (employee records, pay, time, benefits)
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with large datasets
- Strong communication skills, particularly when explaining data findings to non-technical users
