Join to apply for the Smart Contract Engineer (3-month contract) role at Linum Labs
This range is provided by Linum Labs. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.
Base pay range$72,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr
At Linum Labs, we don’t just build blockchain products—we shape what’s next in Web3. From launching DeFi platforms to architecting DAOs and spinning up bold experiments in our Venture Studio, we live on the frontier of innovation.
Now we’re looking for a Senior Smart Contract Engineer ready to dive deep and deliver. If you ship fast, write secure and gas-optimized Solidity, and know how to build modular systems that scale—keep reading.
This is a full-time, 3-month contract (with a possibility of extension).
High autonomy. High impact. Real projects that matter.
What We’re Looking For
This role isn’t background support work—it’s core smart contract engineering on high-stakes, high-impact Web3 products. You’ll be fully embedded in our project team, working alongside product, design, and technical leads to ship features that actually move the needle.
We’re looking for someone who can contribute from day one—writing clean, secure, gas-optimized Solidity, owning architecture decisions, and collaborating across the stack to bring ambitious ideas to life.
️ What You’ll Be Doing
- Writing secure, gas-efficient smart contracts in Solidity
- Architecting clean, modular smart contract systems
- Collaborating cross-functionally to turn specs into shipped features
- Building and maintaining off-chain tools for testing and deployment
- Working async and independently, while staying aligned with a fast-moving team
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- 3+ years of Solidity experience, with production deployments
- History of integrating with AMMs and building lending protocols
- Proficient in Foundry (or comfortable ramping up quickly)
- Deep understanding of Ethereum smart contract design and security
- Experience shipping smart contracts to mainnet
- Smart contract auditing experience
- Familiarity with Rust or other blockchain frameworks
- Experience with staking protocols, rollups, or governance mechanisms
- Comfortable with remote collaboration tools: Slack, Notion, GitHub
- 100% remote work
- Opportunities to work on real, high-visibility products that ship
- A fast-moving, zero-bureaucracy environment where you can focus on building
- Culture Chat – Meet the team and see if the vibe clicks
- Technical Assessment – Show us your skills
- Technical Deep Dive – Talk systems, architecture, and security
- Final Interview – Align with leadership on goals and direction
- No hand-holding. You take ownership, solve problems, and ship with confidence.
- Creative & technical. You think like a builder and design like an engineer.
- Always learning. Web3 moves fast—and so do you.
- Team-first. You play well with others, even if you're working solo.
We never ask for crypto payments in our hiring process. If someone claiming to be from Linum does—it’s a scam.
Equal Opportunity
We want people who think weird, build bold, and break molds. No matter where you're from or how you identify—if you’ve got the skills, we’ve got the space for you.
Ready to join the squad?
If you're the kind of dev who treats smart contract development like both science and art—apply now. Let's build the future of Web3, one line of clean, secure code at a time.
