To lead the credit control function by managing a high-performing team responsible
for the effective oversight of debtor accounts. This includes reducing overdue debt,
ensuring legal and compliance requirements are met, and enhancing business efficiency

Team & Operational Management
- Lead and manage the inland credit control team to meet and exceed performance targets.
- Coach and train team members, emphasizing reconciliation quality and technical development.
- Develop three internal superusers and maintain an effective performance management system.
- Mentor and guide the team on legislative requirements (e.g., National Credit Act) and best practices.
Credit & Collections
- Maintain accurate debtor journals and reconciliations.
- Ensure efficient and timely collections to reduce overdue debt and support cash flow.
- Oversee credit applications, limit reviews, and the credit re-invoice process.
- Manage write-offs and settlement discounts in line with company policy.
- Maintain a credit vetting system to balance revenue growth with credit risk mitigation.
Account and Cash Management
- Monitor and manage unallocated cash and ensure proper allocations.

Qualifications & Experience :
- Tertiary qualification Credit Management or similar.
