What You’ll Do For The Brand

  • Manage, lead and oversee the design pod team.
  • Manage the liaison between pod heads and other creative HODs to ensure collaboration on project start-up.
  • Lead the brainstorming, conceptualizing, development and execution of all 360 projects, adhoc projects and all campaign requirements.
  • Present creative concepts to the broader business teams and management.
  • Manage the day to day creative requirements, business as usual within the design pods.
  • Develop, and oversee look and feel as well as quality of all work generated from the design pod.
  • Liaison between designers and other business departments for all design job requests as well as ensuring the brief is adequate to start the job with all information on deadlines and scope covered.
  • Coordinate design work coming in with a job ticket system and allocate jobs accordingly (Traffic management).
  • Contribute to, implement and ensure work processes are efficient and adhered to within the design pod.
  • Submit daily reports to Creative Head: Design
  • Conduct team member Performance reviews
  • Identify pod team skills gap and suggest learning and development training in the areas that require attention
  • Conduct weekly design pod team meetings.
  • Oversee design progress against schedule, priority, brief and deadlines. Provide feedback and seek any missing information from job requestor, in order to complete the job.
  • Ensure 360 campaign kick start meetings take place in order to conceptualize the campaign artwork required and understand the full scope of the job.
  • Review, approve and present all creative work generated by the design pod team members, prior to creative services internal management approval and sending onto the requestor.
  • Ensure that the brand guide and brand standards as well as legal requirements are always adhered to.
  • Have a strong understanding and opinion on illustration, typography, layout, powerful copy and what makes a good graphic design
  • Find proactive solutions for design team challenges.
  • Ensure that the design files and stock library are maintained.
  • Be an inspiration to the team while providing them with mentorship and career development.
  • Ensure that design specs are aligned to the requirement of the job, and it is correctly print-ready.
  • Keep up to date with design trends, training courses or webinars relevant to the department’s growth. Share and implement these trends where relevant.
  • Be able to work late and travel when required
  • Attending various company events.
  • Conducting interviews for new hires to the respective design pod.
  • Developing Brand Guide (CI for various entities)
  • Ad hoc duties as required.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Video Editor with Graphic Design Skills who combines strong visual intuition with a drive for producing polished, high-quality video content - fast. You’ll work in Adobe Premiere Pro and lightweight editing tools to create learning content. If you enjoy clean design, have a sharp eye for detail, and get excited by automation, AI, and working smarter, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit e-learning video content using Adobe Premiere Pro and other simple video editing tools (including footage with real human actors, AI-generated speakers, screencasts, and animations).
  • Apply mid-level graphic design skills to create visual elements in Figma and integrate them into video content to produce inspiring educational materials.
  • Collaborate with instructional designers and production teams to deliver engaging, on-brand content.
  • Ensure visual consistency and maintain a high level of attention to detail across all assets.
  • Continuously explore new tools, plug-ins, and AI features to improve efficiency and turnaround time.
  • Deliver projects on time without compromising quality.

Duties & Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Degree in Graphic Design or BTECH in Graphic Design.
Proficiency in software including InDesign, Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, and Animation.
1-3 years previous lecturing experience is essential.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB:
Proven teaching portfolio demonstrating student support and success.
Minimum of 1 year’s lecturing experience required, with 3 or more years’ experience preferred.
Possession of specialist knowledge and technical skills in the subject discipline to develop teaching programs and materials and provide learning support.
Active participation in professional academic development, including awareness of regulatory body requirements, quality councils, institutional standards, and policies.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
A lecturer is responsible for facilitating student learning through interactive classroom teaching that promotes student engagement and supports the student learning experience. Lecturers are required to promote student success through initiatives that see improved student retention and throughput rates. As a subject matter expert, a lecturer needs to keep abreast of developments in their subject area and is also required to assure the quality of the delivery of the subject content, assessment, and relevancy of the learning material such that the learning outcomes are achieved.
