What You’ll Do:

• Design appropriate strategy to achieve sales goals and targets in assigned territory;

• Achievement of sales, market share and growth objectives in the region;

• Maintain satisfactory customer call rate, strike rate and territory coverage;

• Compile and update sales operating plan for region;

• Identify new business opportunities;

• Attend cycle meetings and conferences;

• Negotiate additional display areas and space, in line with marketing objectives , to accentuate the brand building activities.

• Build and maintain business relationships in-store / in practice with all personnel who have an impact upon the company’s business.

• Accurately take stock in-store utilizing customer stock cards (use as a tool in negotiating the order).

• Build impactful and appealing dis-plays to assist the pharmacy to “move-through” stock.

• Assist with merchandising: Ensure stock is well presented, Packed and available to the consumer (FIFO principle).

• Detail and train staff in-store (inclusive of All Healthcare Professionals).

Required Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in Human Sciences/Marketing/Business Management preferred.

Preference experience:

• 3 years of pharmacy sales experience is mandatory .

• Experience and established pharmacy relationships essential.

• Fluent in English and Afrikaans.

• Strong sales track record , sound organizational skills and time management skill

• History of superior territory coverage in the Johannesburg area will be an advantage.

• Positive with a can-do attitude.
