WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Create strategy & implementation roadmaps for 5-6 brands.
- Monitor KPIs and iterate fast based on data to hit targets.
- Lead a team that consists of a Strategy Associate (junior, supporting role), a copywriter, and a designer.
- Present strategy, data, and performance reviews directly to clients.

- About the team:
The creative marketing team is responsible for the end-to-end execution and delivery of high-quality marketing collateral and campaigns across Ninety One. We collaborate closely with various internal stakeholders, including Channel Marketing, Digital Marketing, Creative Services, and Events, to plan, produce, and manage a wide range of marketing materials, campaigns, and projects.
- In this role you will:
- Collaborate across various teams, including Channel Marketing, Digital Marketing, Creative Services and Events to plan and deliver high-quality multimedia marketing collateral. You will manage end-to-end project execution, ensuring all communications are on-brand and tailored to the intended audience
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to scope, produce, and manage marketing materials, campaigns, events, webinars, and projects that support business objectives, ensuring timely and effective delivery across all marketing teams (web, email, video, social media, design etc.)
- Create and oversee briefs for internal marketing teams and external agencies, ensuring alignment with project goals and delivery timelines
- Act as a brand guardian, ensuring all communications adhere to brand guidelines, including look, feel, and tone of voice, and are packaged to a high standard suitable for the target audience
- Collaborate with the multimedia team to produce and execute video content, including managing supplier relationships, coordinating production shoots and budgets, briefing, producing, directing, ensuring quality control, and overseeing editing and distribution plans
- Continuously refine team processes, technology and procedures to support the implementation of workflow ensuring efficiency and quality in all outputs.
- Analytics and Reporting : monitoring and analysing the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives, using data to inform decisions and optimise strategies
- Stay informed of market, business, and product developments to ensure that communication materials accurately reflect current information. You are required to keep up with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the marketing strategies remain innovative and competitive
- Ensure all marketing activities adhere to compliance/approval procedures and follow rules/regulations as stipulated by local country regulators

- You should consider applying if you have:
Technical Knowledge and Experience:
- Relevant bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent
- 3 to 5 years relevant experience
- Digital and TTL advertising agency experience preferred
- Preference will be given to candidates with financial services (asset management) experience

- Excellent organisational skills supported by a strong work ethic.
- An interest in, and ideally knowledge of, branding, design and complete through the line marketing techniques.
- Ability to ensure that brand and corporate identity is adhered to in campaigns or other communication channels.

The Role
We're looking for a Retention & Lifecycle Marketing Lead to shape and own customer retention strategies across our portfolio of brands. You'll design and execute programs that boost engagement, drive repeat revenue, and cultivate loyalty—bringing both strategic leadership and hands-on execution to the table. Proven experience working for brands in the United States.
Key Responsibilities:
- Retention Strategy: Build and optimize multi-channel retention strategies using segmentation and personalization to reduce churn and enhance customer lifetime value.
- Campaign Execution: Own the end-to-end execution of retention campaigns—including content calendars, messaging, and creative—across channels like email, SMS, and loyalty programs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Brand, Product, CX, and Analytics teams to align campaigns with product launches, promotions, and evolving customer needs.
- Data-Driven Insights: Analyze customer data and retention KPIs to uncover trends, opportunities, and actionable strategies.

Required Skills & Experience

- Strong analytical acumen with the ability to turn data (e.g., LTV, churn, segmentation) into impactful strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a creative flair for brand-aligned messaging.
- Strong project management skills, capable of overseeing multiple campaigns from ideation through execution.
- A customer-centric mindset and passion for crafting meaningful experiences that resonate.
- Native-level English speaker and experience working for brands in the United States.

Job Summary:
As a Trade Lifecycle Analyst in the Corporate Investment Banking (CIB) Equity Markets Operations team, you will support the SA Equities franchise. Your role will involve executing strategic initiatives and ensuring effective trade support and lifecycle management. Join us to contribute to the Lines of Business, including Cash Equities, Index Forward Trading, Prime Finance, and Delta 1.
Job Responsibilities:
- Create a robust control environment and efficient operating model, performing all relevant control reconciliations, including stock/cash positions and FOBO reconciliations.
- Understand dual management systems and introduce control procedures to ensure system synchronization.
- Capture trades in BDA & JPM corporate systems, including account opening and static data processes.
- Liaise with sales/traders, clients, custodians, and internal JPM colleagues to ensure timely and accurate transaction processing and settlement. Develop and maintain effective client/customer and stakeholder relationships.
- Appropriately escalate and report any pertinent issues.
- Own and resolve all daily tasks and any extraordinary issues that arise.
- Support new initiatives or system implementations, including new products and processes.
- Meet all MIS and reporting deadlines.
- Maintain standard operating procedures.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- 3+ years of experience
- B.Com degree or equivalent business qualification
- Thorough understanding and appreciation of a sound operations control environment
- Solid understanding of South African equities market conventions
- Thorough understanding of the trade lifecycle and events management
- Strong analytical skills for root cause analysis on related processes and controls
- Solutions-oriented to increase STP and mitigate recurring risk events
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to prioritize and coordinate workflows effectively
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Key personality traits: Integrity, self-starter with initiative, strong team player, innovative, deadline/control-oriented, growth mindset, emotional intelligence
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Extensive BDA experience is advantageous
- Proficiency in Excel
- Understanding of South African equities market conventions
- Relevant South African equities operations experience
- Experience working with an international bank is advantageous
