Anticipated Contract End Date / Length : 6 months with potential to extend

Work set up : Remote

Our client, a leader in the Information Technology and Digital Solutions industry, is seeking a highly organized and creative Content Strategist to oversee and program-manage Demand Generation content and operations.

  • Own and execute Demand Generation Content and Operations strategy.
  • Build a scalable content engine and centralized content repository to support ongoing marketing efforts.
  • Design and implement content programs and processes for the creation, management, and distribution of various content types.
  • Manage and deliver a steady stream of demand gen content, including ebooks, blogs, whitepapers, social content, playbooks, and more.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to source insights and ensure content is accurate, relevant, and impactful.
  • Maintain and update a documented SME bench categorized by topic or industry.
  • Audit and clean up existing content, optimizing it for clarity, consistency, and performance.

Qualifications

  • 10 -15+ years experience incontent strategy, program management, and demand generation.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities across multiple content formats.
  • Experience collaborating with internal stakeholders and SMEs to develop high-quality content.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Ability to align content initiatives with broader marketing and business objectives.
  • Comfortable working North American business hours, regardless of location.
  • Experience in B2B tech, SaaS, or marketing to North American audiences is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with tools or similar tools such as Asana, Trello, Notion, or content management platforms is preferred.

Content Creation & Writing:


• Write and create engaging, punchy web content, blogs, and landing page copy that enhance SEO.

• Understand and interpret technical and technology-related topics, transforming complex ideas into accessible content.


• Collaborate with researchers to ensure narratives are accurate while also challenging assumptions when necessary.


• Convert video transcriptions into compelling blog posts and training content.

Project Management:


• Manage content projects from start to finish, ensuring deadlines are met and content goals are achieved.


• Oversee content curation and production for large-scale projects, including creating training content for online courses.


• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to maintain consistency and quality across all content outputs.

SEO and Digital Optimisation:


• Optimise all written content for SEO and ensure alignment with digital marketing best practices.


• Continuously test, analyse, and refine content strategies to improve performance metrics.


• Stay updated on the latest trends in SEO, digital marketing, and content management.

Collaboration & Communication:


• Work closely with researchers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure all content aligns with the overall narrative and brand voice.

Requirements
  • 5+ years in content strategy and product content writing for enterprise‑scale web, mobile, and / or commerce portals.
  • Demonstrable IA / structured content skills: taxonomy, schema, and component ‑ based content models for PLP / PDP.
  • Persuasive, conversion‑oriented writing for product listings and detail pages—portfolio with before / after or A / B outcomes.
  • Strong grasp of SEO for commerce (query intent, entity coverage, internal linking) and analytics‑informed iteration.
  • Experience collaborating in Agile product teams, managing backlogs, and meeting sprint commitments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to present content rationale using data and customer insights.
Duties
  • Set content strategy for PLP / PDP and category experiences across multiple brands / markets; define voice, tone, and evidence‑based messaging frameworks that increase CTR, add‑to‑cart, and revenue per visit.
  • Plan and orchestrate information architecture (taxonomy, facets, filters, naming, microcopy) to improve findability and reduce friction across web and app journeys.
  • Write and edit at scale: compelling headlines, benefit‑led bullets, specs, comparison modules, and guided selling microcopy for product discovery.
  • Operationalise content: build reusable templates, content models, and governance (style guides, editorial checklists, QA) to drive consistency across markets.
  • Partner with optimization & analytics: run A / B and multivariate tests (e.g., CTA language, above‑the‑fold modules) and use insights to iterate content for measurable lifts.
  • Work in enterprise CMS & marketing stacks, ideally Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) for content modeling / authoring, Adobe Target for personalization / experiments.
  • Campaign for cross‑channel messaging coordination.
  • Collaborate daily with UX / Product, Design, Merchandising, SEO, and Engineering to ship content on time to release trains / sprints.
