As a Social Media Host, you’ll be supporting the delivery of high-quality service within the contact centre covering, but not limited to, engaging with our customers through Social Media Platforms, reviewing customer feedback via Feedback platforms such as Trustpilot and App Stores as well as being responsible for ensuring video content uploaded to the website is appropriate and in line with the Betway Brand Tone of voice. This will help us excel at providing world class service to stay ahead of the game.

What You’ll Be Doing

As part of your role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing world-class customer service by responding to customer queries via our social media and feedback platforms
  • Moderate videos posted by customers to ensure they adhere to the business quality assurance standards on the Betway Clips Platform
  • Processing and resolving incoming and outgoing contacts in a multimedia environment
  • Processing pertinent information into relevant databases
  • Completion of tasks assigned during shift
  • Customer relationship building and management as well as cross selling products and services
  • Problem solving tasks during shift
  • Handling and taking full responsibility for customer related queries
  • Excellent time management and adherence to schedule
  • Performing extra tasks given by managers / shift supervisors as required

  • Analytics & Reporting

  • Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the primary social media expert in client meetings and presentations.
  • Provide strategic counsel and thought leadership on social trends and innovations.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
  • 5+ years of digital marketing experience, with an emphasis on social media and or / content development for major clients
  • Minimum 3 years of managing direct reports
  • Proven experience in managing social campaigns for brands in an agency or fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics).
  • A strong understanding of social media planning, distribution and content syndication
  • Superb experience leading creative thinking in the digital space : content, media, social and activation.
  • The ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external partners
  • Well versed in new technology, new content solutions, social media events and developments—plus a strong connection with entertainment and pop culture
  • A strong sense of consumer insights—you get what makes people tick
  • The ability to back up great creative ideas with sound analytical reasoning
  • A strong, up-to-date point of view on digital media, social channels and content platforms and up and coming partners, practices and initiatives
  • Poise and eloquence—when you speak with clients, they listen
  • Willingness to travel—you’re open to new places, new faces and new ideas
  • Familiarity with prompt-based interaction and commonly used generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Google Gemini, DALL
  • E, Midjourney) is a plus, especially for tasks like ideation, research, or content generation.

    2. Copywriting is required for monthly content plans.

    Community Management
    1. Proactively manage social media communities.

    1. Offer support to the clients, communicate with clients, and ensure client satisfaction.
    KPIs
    1. Meet with clients monthly and present reports, calendars, and ideas on how to improve the performance of the platforms.
    2. Ensure the accounts KPI’s are met.
    3. Execute work in a timely manner; meet all deadlines whilst producing quality and accurate work.
    4. Advice on the development of social media applications and running of promotions.
    5. Stay abreast of current industry trends and technology, creating and updating quarterly reviews.
    6. Research ideas and study successful competitor’s campaigns and report on these findings.
    Qualifications And Education Requirements
    1. BA degree/qualification in social media.
    2. Minimum three years’ experience in social media.
    3. Previous Agency Experience is a must.
    4. Copywriting skills.
    5. Excellent written and grammatical skills.
    Preferred Skills
    1. Knowledge of Social Management tools.
    2. Business Manager.
