- Deep understanding of consumer insights and a demonstrated ability to translate these insights into effective campaigns
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, capable of using data and metrics to justify requirements, features and drive marketing efficiency
- High attention to detail and a track record of independently running multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

Job Description
The Strategy Support Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the strategic initiatives that propel our business forward. This individual will report to the Head: Strategy and work closely with senior leadership to develop and implement strategies that align with our long-term goals.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Strategic Planning Support
- Support the Head: Group Strategy in developing RMA’s strategic plan/framework and annual operating plans
- Assist in formalizing and documenting the strategic planning process
- Gather and analyze relevant data to inform strategic decision-making
- Prepare strategic planning materials and facilitate strategic planning sessions
- Ensure alignment between Group Strategy, business strategy, and functional business plans
- Help communicate the strategy clearly to all internal and external stakeholders
Market Analysis and Intelligence
- Conduct in-depth market analysis and competitive landscape assessments
- Monitor industry trends and identify market opportunities and potential risks
- Prepare competitive intelligence reports for senior management
- Research and analyze market data to support strategic recommendations
- Identify strategic opportunities for business growth and expansion
- Develop insights on competitors’ strengths, weaknesses, and strategic moves
Strategic Performance Management
- Support the development and implementation of KPIs to track strategic objectives
- Assist in creating and maintaining dashboards for monitoring strategic performance
- Analyze performance data and prepare regular reports for leadership
- Identify performance gaps and recommend corrective actions
- Support the cascade of strategic goals to divisional and individual KPAs
- Track and monitor group, divisional, and individual KPI performance
Strategic Project Management
- Coordinate and manage the execution of strategic initiatives and projects
- Develop project plans, timelines, and resource requirements
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion
- Identify and mitigate project risks
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to support project execution
- Prepare project status reports for senior leadership
Financial and Strategic Analysis
- Collaborate with the Data and Analytics team on analytical models
- Perform financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Evaluate business cases for new strategic initiatives
- Assist in scenario planning and financial modelling
- Support the development of capital plans aligned with organizational strategy
- Analyze ROI of strategic initiatives and recommend improvements
Stakeholder Management and Communication
- Support the Head: Group Strategy in stakeholder engagement
- Prepare presentations, reports, and strategic communications
- Facilitate strategic discussions with cross-functional teams
- Assist in building strategic partnerships and alliances
- Create compelling materials for executive meetings and board presentations
- Ensure strategic initiatives are clearly communicated across the organization
WHAT WILL YOU BRING TO THE TABLE?
- NQF Level 9: Master’s degree
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in business administration, management consulting or project delivery
- Excellent understanding of business operations and procedures
- Strong data/information sourcing and analysing to drive strategic insight
- Experience leading project execution teams
