About the job:
Our company is structured into 2 strategic divisions, namely (1) Consumer Electronics (2) Homeware. We're on the lookout for a category assistant to start their exciting journey of learning the ropes under the guidance of our Category Manager of the Consumer Electronics Division to help them manage the expansion of our Smarthome, Gaming and Electronic Accessories Categories.

Responsibilities include:
- Support the Category Manager: Assist Category Manager in maintaining and developing relationships with key clients to drive sales and achieve company objectives.
- Coordinate Client Orders: Manage the processing of client orders, monitor delivery schedules, and ensure timely fulfillment to meet client expectations.
- Product Listings: Make our products look amazing on customer platforms
- Prepare Sales Reports: Compile and analyze sales data related to key accounts to assist in strategy development and decision-making.
- Client Communication: Serve as a point of contact for key clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Assist in Sales Presentations: Help prepare proposals, presentations, and sales materials for meetings with key clients.
- Monitor Account Performance: Track sales targets and performance metrics for key accounts, reporting any variances to the Category Manager.
- Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with sales, marketing, and logistics teams to coordinate efforts and meet client needs effectively.
- Conduct Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments that could impact key accounts.
- Administrative Support: Handle correspondence and administrative tasks related to our key account as and when they appear.
Requirements & skills:
- Educational Background: A degree or diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is great, but we're open to all passionate candidates.
- Experience: If you've got some experience in sales support, account management, or customer service, that's awesome, but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn go a long way too.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills will help you connect with our clients and team members effectively.
- Organizational Skills: If you're good at juggling multiple tasks, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines, you'll fit right in with our fast-paced environment.
- Analytical Abilities: Being comfortable with numbers and data will help you interpret sales figures and market trends.

Growth path:
The natural progression of a graudate is to become a Junior key account manager, brand manager or category manager for one of the 2 divisions. Who knows, maybe we'll even have a 3rd or 4th division in due course. Before managing strategic vendor relationships or managing entire sales teams though, you have to know the game by being in the trenches with your team. That's what this role is all about.
