Working directly alongside a Site Supervisor, you'll help coordinate trades, monitor quality and progress, and ensure our standards for craftsmanship, safety, and professionalism are upheld every step of the way.

What You'll Do:

• Assist the Site Supervisor in managing daily construction activity on a high-end custom home
• Monitor the progress of framing, electrical, HVAC, finish work, and other trades
• Serve as a communication link between subcontractors, suppliers, and the Jorgenson team
• Conduct site walks, track deliveries, and help manage daily logs and reports
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, job site cleanliness, and scheduling milestones
• Answer trade questions, help coordinate on-site solutions, and flag issues proactively
• Support documentation and project tracking through CoConstruct or similar software

What We're Looking For:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in residential construction; custom home background preferred
• Understanding of construction sequencing, materials, and local building codes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• A collaborative, problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
• Proficiency with basic digital tools (smartphone, tablets, CoConstruct, etc.)
• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record
• Willingness to be based in St. George for the duration of this project

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly pay: 25 35/hour, depending on experience
• Full-Time Position

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our tyre facility. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth workflow, maintain safety standards, and lead a team to achieve operational targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily site operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity.

Manage and lead a team of staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.

Ensure compliance with company policies, health, and safety regulations.

Monitor stock levels, equipment, and tyre inventory, reporting any issues promptly.

Schedule work shifts and assign tasks to staff according to operational requirements.

Resolve operational and staff-related issues promptly and professionally.

Maintain accurate records and prepare daily/weekly reports for management.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Site Supervisor, preferably in tyre, automotive, or warehouse operations.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Knowledge of safety regulations and operational procedures.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Basic computer skills for reporting and inventory management.

The main function of this role is to build and maintain a relationship with all on-site employees and Clients in the day-to-day running of the operations and to ensure that issues arising daily are managed and only escalated to the Operations Manager that are impossible to resolve without him.

1. Perform onboarding and induction.
2. Recruitment.
3. Daily and weekly progress reports.
4. Capturing of accruals/timesheets.
5. Manage PPE requirements.
6. Manage hours/leave and ensure they are forwarded to payroll.
7. Issuing of warnings to staff.
8. Roll call of employees on site.
9. Attending meetings with client.
10. Make sure staff is on site when scheduled to work.
11. Conduct uniform checks and make sure staff is always wearing the correct PPE.
12. Terminations of site staff.
13. Report and assist with IOD.
14. Booking transport for employees on site.
15. Scheduling of employee shifts.

• Passed Grade 12 / NCV L4.
• Tertiary qualification would be advantageous.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as Site Administrator/Site Supervisor in a Logistics or Supply Chain environment.
• Clear Criminal Record.
• Computer Literate with Strong Excel and good data Capturing Capabilities.
• Ability to compose site specific presentations for senior management.
• Reports & Statistics.
• Highly proficient in English.
• Ability to work shifts.
• Valid Driver’s License & must have own reliable transport.

• Recruit and assist with the management of labourers and transporters that provide services to the company.
• Liaise with and manage the relationship with the transporters and contractors.
• Oversee, implement, and ensure compliance with all the requisite health and safety requirements.
• Manage the procurement, inspection, and maintenance of equipment utilized on site.
• Manage equipment movements and maintenance between sites.
• Supervise the employer's appointed Sub-Contractor and control all relevant documentation at the different weighbridges.
• Book trucks for collections of scrap.
• Prepare daily/weekly plans which include:
• Manpower and Equipment needs on site.
• Services (gas, oxygen, compliance, hot work permits, safety files) as needed on site.
• Provide weekly/monthly reports to Management for collections of scrap, processing of works orders, gas stock levels and ordering, truck logistics, and cleaning of stations.
