10. Keep stakeholders abreast of project progress and any pertinent changes in milestones.

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in electronic engineering design.
• At least 5 years of experience must be post-registration and should be in planning and implementing electronic systems in production environments.
• Sound understanding of construction procedures, standards, and project management expertise.

Qualification:

• BSc, BEng, or BTech degree in Electronic Engineering.
• Registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer.

The core purpose of the job focuses on the design and development of construction projects for building services (Power and Lighting), electrical infrastructure, and other structures. • Develop Electrical Building Services construction project specifications and designs based on customer requirements and building design standards.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other construction professionals to ensure that designs are feasible and meet all client project requirements.
• Working knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering tools to create and refine construction project designs, including creating 3D models and animations using CAD, Revit, and BIM software.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to determine the viability of new designs and construction techniques.
• Develop and maintain project and contract documentation, including design reports, drawings, and specifications.
• Ensure that construction projects meet statutory and regulatory requirements and adhere to building safety, reliability, and sustainability standards.
• Collaborate with members of the multi-disciplinary project team to ensure that construction projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with defined quality standards.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings and make recommendations to senior project management team members.
