Responsibilities- Sole point of contact for business procurement needs
- Work with Head office procurement team to ensure all the Procurement KPIs are met (savings, supplier reduction, catalogue usage, BEE maximum score, improved DPO).
- Improve efficiencies – optimum usage of the IProc system and accurate processing of actual costs and accruals
- Ensure the receipt of goods is timely and correctly recorded
- Ensure any issues on quality, service delivery or supplier’s performance are reported so that Procurement can address with the supplier.
- Ensure Preferred Suppliers are used.
- Insist on usage of vetted Preferred Suppliers and reduce significantly the need for ‘once-off’ suppliers.
- Co-ordinate with Procurement in the case of new supplier requirements, ensuring that the full documentation and motivation for a new supplier is provided and in line with procedures.
- Purchase Requests
- All requisitions from business to be centrally requested on IProc using Catalog or Non Catalog process as per procedure.
- Ensure the purchase requisitions are correctly raised and the correct commodity code used to ensure accurate accounting
- Ensure no delays in processing and or approval process.
- Receiving of services/goods
- Co-ordinate with Receivers in business and based on their feedback, receive in IProc.
- Order follow up
- Follow up on open orders to ensure there are no issues with delivery and that receiving is promptly recorded.
- Investigate and report any discrepancies between order pricing and quantity vs supplier’s invoice.
- Report any quality issues to be taken up with supplier
- Business Support
- Ensure full understanding of Business operational needs, with special focus on minimum / maximum stock levels and turnaround time.
- Work with Procurement to achieve all KPIs
- Ensure there is no deviation from policies, procedures and system processes
- Share knowledge and resources with other Centralised Business Purchasing Officers in other business lines.
Education
- Matric
- Tertiary Qualification (preferred)
Experience
- Procurement (1 year min)
- Transactional Administration
- Procure to Pay fundamentals and accounting.
- Oracle – IProc (preferable but not mandatory as training will be provided)
- Proficient on MS Office applications, especially Excel and Word
- Very organized
- Initiative and proactivity
- Able to professionally collaborate across all boundaries.
- Self confidence

Law Enforcement Liaison Officer PSIRA - Vehicle Tracking - AA/EE - Cape Town
Introduction: Company is seeking a dedicated Law Enforcement Liaison Officer to strengthen our operations in the recovery of stolen and hijacked vehicles. The successful candidate will play a critical role in achieving recovery targets while fostering strong relationships with law enforcement and private security partners.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 5 years law enforcement or private security (PSI) experience.
- Strong knowledge of SAPS operations.
- Solid understanding of Criminal Law and the Criminal Procedure Act.
- Knowledge of Western Cape demographics.
- Willingness to travel, work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Drivers licence and own reliable transport.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Computer literacy | PSIRA Grade C registration.
- Firearm competency (handgun for business purposes).
- Armed Response certification.
- Advantageous : Operational experience in physical tracking of vehicles.
Operational Activities:
- Recover stolen or hijacked vehicles.
- Implement Companys vehicle recovery processes to enhance efficiency.
- Act as a point of contact between Companys Emergency Control Centre and law enforcement/PSI partners.
- Co-ordinate and attend all activations and verifications.
- Request SAPS or PSI assistance during crime or safety activations.
- Adhere to crime scene management protocols.
- Maintain working knowledge of the stolen vehicle recovery ecosystem, SAPS protocols, and the Criminal Procedure Act.
- Testify in court when required.
- Ensure vehicle safeguarding and repatriation protocols are followed.
- Apply knowledge of missing person protocols (SAPS 55).
- Compile recovery statements and documentation in line with SOPs.
- Adhere to Companys post-recovery and non-recovery processes.
Customer Experience & Service Delivery:
- Uphold professionalism and customer engagement protocols.
- Assist customers with vehicle repatriation at SAPS safeguarding units.
- Provide guidance on recovery processes | Escalate customer queries promptly.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders | Identify customer needs and pain points.
- Provide feedback to internal teams | Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Analyse stolen vehicle tactics and modus operandi.
- Record findings and insights systematically.
- Recommend and implement recovery and service improvements.
- Develop and lead initiatives to enhance departmental functioning.
- Partner with external stakeholders on specialized recovery plans.
- Attend training and development aligned with IDP and departmental objectives.
- Provide training to external partners and law enforcement when needed.
Compliance:
- Adhere to company policies, PSIRA regulations, and the Firearms Control Act.
- Ensure data protection and confidentiality.
- Maintain accurate record-keeping (statements, firearm bookings, reports).
- Report theft, losses, or damage to company assets.
- Uphold professional standards in uniform, vehicles, and conduct.
- Stay updated on relevant security sector legislation and Companys products/services.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with law enforcement, PSIs, and other stakeholders.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration within Company.
- Represent Company at industry-related events.
- Develop new partnerships and alliances.
- Implement processes to measure and improve partner and customer satisfaction.
