Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

• A relevant qualification or technical diploma in Electrical Engineering, CAD Technology, or a related field is preferred.

The CAD Draughtsman, a key technical position within our team, is primarily responsible for creating detailed and accurate CAD designs that align with customer specifications and requirements. This role demands a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to quality control, ensuring that all designs not only meet client expectations but also adhere rigorously to Safety and IEC Standards.

In addition to technical proficiency in CAD, the role involves conducting thorough testing and quality control of electrical panels. The CAD Draughtsman is also expected to maintain positive customer relationships, effectively communicating and collaborating to refine designs and resolve any design-related issues. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in drafting and design, a strong understanding of electrical, PLC and instrumentation systems, and the ability to engage effectively with clients to deliver solutions that are both technically sound and customer centric.

Responsibilities

: Manage and update Quality Control Procedures (QCP) documents to ensure they are current and accurate.

: Conduct quality control inspections and testing of designs to ensure compliance with QC documents and industry standards

Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to grasp client needs and contribute to crafting bespoke project proposals. Engage in initial project meetings, provide expert advice, and assist in estimating project timelines and expenses.

11. Project Management Compliance:
Oversee projects, ensuring they conform to the project management standards established by the organization. Coordinate effectively with team members and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project timelines.

12.Compliance (Risk) and Safety with Method Statements
: Guarantee strict adherence to industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines throughout the design, implementation, and operational phases of automated systems. Execute comprehensive risk assessments, devise safety protocols, and promptly address safety concerns. Prepare and maintain detailed method statements for all procedures.

Qualifications

Certificate, Diploma, or Associate Degree in:
Electrical Engineering (for electrical CAD roles), CAD or Drafting Technology, AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN
