Overview

Nurse Consultant - Perinatal and Infant Mental Health Services - join Womenu2019s and Childrenu2019s Health Network as part of the CAMHS team. The role focuses on leadership and expert clinical care in perinatal and infant mental health services.

Responsibilities
  • Providing expert clinical care and leadership in perinatal and infant mental health services.
  • Assessing, planning, and coordinating client-centred care with independent clinical decision-making.
  • Leading multidisciplinary collaboration to ensure culturally sensitive, equitable mental health services.
  • Promoting access and equity of services for people from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
  • Driving quality improvement through education, practice guideline development, and service evaluation.
  • Fostering a positive, safe work environment promoting learning, innovation, and team wellbeing.
About You
  • Registered Nurse (or eligible) with current practicing certificate and mental health qualification or enrolment.
  • Minimum 3 years post-registration experience in mental health nursing, preferably perinatal focus.
  • Proven expertise in risk assessment and management of women with perinatal mental health issues.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in staff development, change management, and multidisciplinary teamwork.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide education and clinical supervision to nurses, midwives, and students.
  • Effective communicator with problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills in complex care settings.

Role Responsibilities
  • Manage full design aspects for Mechanical Services across a range of building services projects.
  • Analysing project requirements in the context of various codes and standard and develop conceptual designs through to a set of construction information.
  • Directing a small team to ensure compliant designs are delivered to agreed programmes.
  • Manage and coordinate interdisciplinary interfaces.
  • Develop scripts and add-ins to automate repetitive design aspects and/or to check various design compliance aspects (using e.g., Dynamo, Python).
  • Strong understanding of local, international codes and standards, including those applicable to South Africa, Middle East & Australia.
  • Representation at client and professional meetings and being able to present work and engage in technical conversations.
  • Maintaining accountability for resourcing, timeliness, quality, risk management, project financial performance, scope management and keeping the client informed on project progress.
Minimum Requirements
  • BSc/BEng, or MSc/MEng in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Active professional registration with a certified engineering body.
  • Minimum of 5 to 8 years’ experience as a Mechanical (PH&F) Engineer within the Built Environment. (International experience will be highly advantageous).
  • Strong technical and view of building services, focusing mainly on Mechanical.
  • Strong proficiency in Revit would be an advantage working on your projects.
  • Strong proficiency in IES & HAP and mechanical simulation software is highly advantageous.
  • Being confident, a team player, approachable.

  4. Ensure that all required metadata not automatically generated is manually added to the digital build elements, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail and a real commitment to data accuracy.
  5. Achieve completion of various aspects of the digital build as set out in the TIDP/Drawing register to maintain the agreed cadence of model federation and information sharing.
  6. Achieve ongoing project adherence to the BEP/EIRs and communicate opportunities for efficiency enhancement to the BIM coordinator.
  7. Pay close attention to quality of outputs.

Minimum Requirements

  1. Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent and an industry recognised Modelling or Draughting qualification.
  2. Minimum of 5 years experience as a Plumbing & Fire Digital Modeller.
  3. Revit for MEP is essential.
  4. Familiarity with delivering projects in the global commercial built environment.
  5. Ability to use initiative to resolve tasks or problems.
  6. Familiarity with BIM360 and Autodesk Construction Cloud advantageous.
