Our marketing team is searching for a passionate and energetic Social Media and Communications Coordinator who plays a pivotal role in enhancing a company's online presence and ensuring effective communication across various platforms.

The Employee’s responsibilities shall include, among other things, the following:

  • Oversee day-to-day social media management across all platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok)
  • Plan and execute email newsletter campaigns in collaboration with designers, including copywriting and briefing
  • Develop and coordinate social media content, from ideation to execution, in partnership with the design team
  • Identify and liaise with influencers for potential brand collaborations
  • Write and edit compelling copy for social media, advertisements, and print materials
  • Update and maintain content on the WordPress website in collaboration with design and third-party marketing agencies
  • Publish and schedule engaging social media posts
  • Monitor and respond to guest reviews on platforms such as Google and TripAdvisor

Minimum Requirements:

Proven 2 - 3 year's of experience in a similar role

Experience

  • 3-5 years of operational experience in change management and communication in a corporate environment.
  • Basic understanding of change management concepts and how to support organisational change.
  • Knowledge of communication methods, tools, and models to inform and engage staff.
  • Familiar with how organisations work, including their culture and behaviour.
  • Awareness of how strategic planning and daily operations connect to communication efforts.

Qualifications And Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Internal Marketing & Communications:

  • Create and set up communication and newsletters in mail automation platforms.
  • Manage and update our SharePoint intranet with internal news stories and various content items such as policies, charts, statistics, videos etc. Continuously work with the team to improve and elevate employee engagement and experience.
  • Support the marketing lead on acquisitions and employee integrations.
  • Work closely with the HR team on employee engagement, career fairs, collateral etc
  • Design work in Canva including desktop backgrounds, email banners and diagrams

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Track employee engagement and compile monthly and quarterly reports
  • Create, distribute, Analyse feedback from various employee surveys and create management reports.

Town Halls:

  • Prepare agendas and presentations for monthly town hall meetings.
  • Coordinate, create and oversee these online meetings, ensuring smooth execution.
  • Reporting and analysis of Town Hall attendance.

Admin:

  • Manage business card requests and distribution.
  • Process marketing invoices and onboard new suppliers.
  • Assist with daily administrative duties.

Your Attributes:

  • Highly organized with a keen eye for detail.

Skills & Experience:

  • Degree in Marketing (preferred).
  • Basic Graphic Design skills (a plus).
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel data and charts, and PowerPoint for presentations
  • Experience in a marketing/communications assistant role.
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms (preferred).
  • 1–3 years’ experience in a communications, marketing, or content role (internal or external), preferably within a global or financial services company

The Communications Consultant is responsible for copywriting and content creation across a variety of internal and external channels, including the PwC Africa website, social media, newsletters, and other digital platforms. The role helps ensure messaging is clear, engaging, and aligned with PwC’s tone and brand, to effectively inform, inspire, and connect with clients, partners, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Communications services:

  • Develop clear, engaging, and audience-appropriate messages for digital channels, including the PwC Africa website, social media and other platforms.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, to ensure messaging aligns with PwC’s broader objectives and brand guidelines.
  • Assist with planning, writing, and editing digital content, ensuring quality, consistency, and alignment with PwC’s tone and voice.
  • Support leadership profiling and contribute to PwC’s positioning on social media, working alongside senior communications staff.
  • Assist in managing content calendars and scheduling posts to maintain consistent communication across digital platforms.
  • Apply basic SEO principles to web content to improve online visibility and engagement.
  • Support the integration of multimedia elements such as images, videos, and infographics into digital content, collaborating with creative teams as needed.
  • Identify and engage internal PwC advocates through platforms like Haiilo to help amplify PwC Africa’s digital messages.

Internal Communications services:

  • Develop and implement internal content plans and write/edit a range of internal materials including staff emails, articles, newsletters, speeches, scripts and talking points.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to shape key themes and messages and communicate them through appropriate internal channels.
  • Ensure consistent quality of internal communications.
  • Create innovative internal communications by exploring content, design, and channel options in collaboration with Africa CMD’s Digital Presence and Brand and Creative teams.
  • Develop content that encourages PwC Africa employees to support the firm’s strategy and growth ambition.
  • Identify and segment internal audiences and tailor communication plans to effectively engage each group.
  • Align all internal communications with PwC’s tone of voice.
  • Support internal change management initiatives through clear, transparent, and timely communication.
  • Plan and manage internal communications projects from brief to delivery, ensuring timelines, approvals, and outputs are effectively coordinated.
  • Assist in developing communications for internal events such as town halls, firm-wide briefings, and leadership webinars.
  • Collaborate with Human Capital other internal teams to support communications around people-focused initiatives and firm culture.
  • Leverage internal communication tools and platforms to distribute content and maintain strong engagement across the organisation.
  • Build and maintain key relationship with various internal stakeholders.

The Electrical department currently has a vacancy for a methodical, attentive to detail individual to join their team. The duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Installation, wiring and mounting of various electronic devices, machines or equipment
  • Installation and programming of access control systems, CCTV cameras and motorized entrance points
  • Installation, fault finding, relocation and fitment of all telecommunications
  • Fitting and testing of data cables for all network points and power skirting
  • Assist in moving offices and setting up PC’s, Phone lines, and moving files
  • Mounting, wiring and fitting grids for wireless infrastructure
  • Day to day maintenance, installation and servicing of security and data equipment
  • Tool and equipment maintenance
  • Adhoc activities as requested by Manager
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to Semi-Skilled team members as and when required
  • Understanding of and abiding by the regulations as set out in the Occupational Health and Safety Act

Qualifying Criteria:

  • Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent
  • Relevant certifications or qualification in the Electrical field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
  • Basic electric/electronic, CCTV, intercom, data or alarm courses
  • Proven IP and analogue camera, alarm, automation, data cabling, electric fencing, intercoms, UPS and Alternating Current electrical knowledge
  • Knowledge of data cabinet wiring
  • Knowledge and experience working with power tools
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must be prepared to work overtime when required
