Job Description

Commission Administration:
  • Review, analyse and audit all commission claims to ensure adherence to sales policy and procedures.
  • Identify and investigate discrepancies between claims and sales policy.
  • Verify submissions with various reports to check accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company standards.
  • Collaborate with sales, branched admin and management to resolve claims discrepancies.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of sales policy, procedures, and relevant requirements.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance claims management and reduce discrepancies.
  • Provide guidance to sales and administration teams on sales policy and claims procedures.

Sales Reporting and Tracking:
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track claims and figures.
  • Compile and communicate accurate trading targets based on historical performance and collaboration with management team.

Communication and Collaboration:
  • Communicate figures and results to internal stakeholders, including senior management.

HR Liaison:
  • Prepare and maintain files for commission payments.
  • Submit payroll files to HR, ensuring accuracy and deadlines.
  • Manage changes and communicate updates to HR regarding commissions.
  • Ensure seamless integration of commission payments with payroll processes.

Incentive Management:
  • Document and track.

Requirements
  • 2 Years experience in commission administration or a related filed.
  • Administrative qualification will be advantages.
  • Grade 12.

About The Role

We're hiring remote, commission-based Sales Agents to help introduce our weather data services to local businesses, agritech firms, research institutes, and government bodies.

This is a part-time, fully remote opportunity—perfect for those who want to earn extra income with flexible hours. You'll work independently to generate leads, build relationships, and close sales.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell WeatherXM's hyperlocal weather data services.
  • Identify and contact local businesses or organizations that would benefit from accurate weather data.
  • Educate prospects about our value, build interest, and help close deals.
  • Work independently while receiving guidance and support from our central team.
  • Use a simple CRM tool to track activity and leads


Requirements

  • Some experience in sales, customer service, call centers, field sales, or other people-facing roles.
  • Confident speaking to people and explaining product benefits.
  • Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently.
  • Fluent in English and based in any African country.
  • Reliable internet access and access to a mobile or computer.

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Experience selling tech, agricultural, or weather-related products.
  • Knowledge of regional climate challenges or data needs.
  • Background in startups or remote work environments.

What you could expect as a Technical Field Sales Representative : Participate in development of go to market strategy to increase ZF technology installed by Trailer builders and deliver on sales targets (# EBS sold, conversion of ABS to EBS) Establish, build and maintain relationship with Trailer builder to address their customer (current and new fleets). Including in surrounding sub Saharan countries Consult and support trailer sales team with technical application knowledge Drive intelligent trailer program features and functions penetration, incl. marketing ZF products, sales and value proposition Provide external product training to trailer builder and its customers Anticipation of market trends Influence fleet specification of Trailer systems with ZF being a preferred supplier Maintain and keep high technical knowledge of ZF CV product range Upon customers request provide vehicle “health checks” to optimize trailer performance Support customers in finding solutions for their technical issues Participate in fleet events and promote ZF products and solutions Cooperate with aftermarket field sales as appropriate What we expect from you as a Technical Field Sales Representative : A degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or a related technical field) 5+ years of experience in technical sales, ideally within the commercial vehicle or automotive sector Strong business acumen with a strategic mindset and customer-first approach Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build long-term client relationships Results-oriented with a strong drive to meet and exceed sales targets Flexible and adaptable in working hours and travel schedules Proven ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment A collaborative team player who thrives in cross-functional settings Proficient in Microsoft Office and general digital tools Must hold a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel as needed #J-18808-Ljbffr

Job Responsibilities Developing and implementing sales strategy. Generating revenue through sales with healthy profit margins. Consulting with IT specialists and management on product offerings. Establishing and maintaining good and healthy long-term relationships with customers, suppliers and other strategic partners. Identifying marketing opportunities and developing sales leads. Assessing potential clients' IT needs and recommending products. Preparing and delivering sales pitches and product demonstrations. Negotiating sales and service renewal contracts, as well as discounts and warranties. Initiating after-sales technical support based on client requirements and feedback. Tracking sales targets and documenting sales performance metrics. Ensuring competitiveness by analysing and researching industry trends. Compiling lists of prospective client businesses using trade directories and other sources. Acquiring and updating knowledge of employer's and competitors' goods and services, and market conditions. Visiting regular and prospective client businesses to establish and act on selling opportunities. Assessing customers' needs and explaining the goods and services which meet their needs. Promoting employers' ICT goods and services to existing and prospective clients. Quoting and negotiating prices and credit terms. Completing contracts and recording sales. Arranging delivery of goods, installation of equipment and the provision of services. Reporting to management on sales made and the marketability of the company’s goods and services. Following up with clients to ensure satisfaction. Preparing sales reports and maintaining and submitting records of business expenses incurred. Desired Experience & Qualification A qualification in IT would be an advantage. 3+ years’ experience in an IT sales environment. Advanced knowledge of marketing and sales strategies. Ability to explain and demonstrate IT product specifications and functionalities. Advanced proficiency in IT industry terminology and jargon. Ability to liaise with management and IT developers about sales strategies. Exceptional ability in negotiating sales deals, contracts, and service agreements. Ability to evaluate client feedback and provide after-sales service. In-depth knowledge of consumer behaviour, as well as industry trends and innovation.
