Overview

As a Network Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the organisation’s communications and infrastructure services. Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and maintain network hardware: routers, switches, firewalls, access points.

Requirements
  • 3+ years in network support or field engineering roles.
  • Strong technical knowledge of:
    • Cisco / Aruba / HPE switches & routers
    • Next-gen firewalls (e.g., Sophos, Trend Micro, SentinelOne)
    • MPLS, SD-WAN, VPNs
    • Wi-Fi access point deployment and configuration
    • SIP trunking solutions and IP-PBX systems (3CX, MS Teams telephony)
    • Familiarity with cloud networking (Azure / VPN, AWS VPC)
    • Proficient in NOC ticketing systems, network monitoring, and diagnostic tools
    • Strong troubleshooting, problem-resolution, and customer communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license for client-site deployments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications: CCNA or equivalent, NFPA, 3CX Engineer, Azure Networking, Sophos / Trend Micro / SentinelOne.

The position responsibilities involve delivering the hardware, configuration and fiber connectivity of interdependent scaling projects across several data center locations. The Network Technician will work closely with both internal customers and external vendors to facilitate smooth project execution in association with Technical Program Managers.

Key job responsibilities

The Network Technician works closely with their teammates and Technical Project Managers to deliver scaling projects following and being active part for both the Cabling Installation and the Deployment phase, respecting deadlines and Team service level agreements (SLA's).

  • Experience in network deployment or equivalent education and experience.
  • Skills in cabling, troubleshooting networking, routing, and device configuration.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong judgment and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Deep understanding of Ethernet and IP networking.
  • Relevant certifications (CCENT, Network+, CCNA).
