- Design and layout of multi-layer PCBs using Altium Designer or similar tools.
- Collaborate with Hardware Engineers to translate schematics into PCB layouts.
- Perform Design Rule Checks (DRC) and ensure that designs meet EMC and safety standards.
- Generate manufacturing documentation and BOMs for production.
- Work closely with manufacturers and suppliers to optimize designs for cost-effective manufacturing.
- Assist with prototype testing and troubleshooting PCB-related issues.
- Stay updated with the latest PCB technologies and design trends.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in PCB design and layout.
- Proficiency in Altium Designer, Eagle, or equivalent CAD software.
- Strong understanding of high-speed design principles, EMI/EMC considerations, and signal integrity.
- Experience with SMT and through-hole technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with rigid-flex or HDI PCB designs.
- Knowledge of embedded systems or firmware development is a plus.
- Familiarity with IPC standards and compliance processes.
