JOB PURPOSE

Quality Performance

  • Tracking supplier quality performance and recording non-conformities in the regional supplier complaints registry system.

  • Monitoring 3rd party manufacturers' product quality performance and updating MI periodic reports.
  • Capture minutes & generating periodic quality performance reports from engagements between Castrol & its 3P suppliers.
  • Tracking & recording manufacturing Quality Observation Conversations (QOC's) against global performance.
  • Coordinating Inter laboratory Correlation Programe (ILCP) testing samples in the region i.e. collate & report results from participants.
  • F2103/NPI Process
  • Coordinating and tracking efficient execution of F2103 relating to New Product Introduction (NPI) as well as product change activities between technology, marketing, manufacturing and relevant 3rd party manufacturers.

Handling of Customer samples

  • Receiving & distributing customer samples to relevant manufacturers in cases of complaints
  • Tracking customer complaint Root Cause Analysis (RCA) progress and collating data for reporting.

Compliance & Quality Audits

  • Tracking audit findings & following up with 3P's for closure.

Qualification & Skills

  • Degree holder in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering or other related field

Job & Company Description: This is a hands-on role that spans the full engineering lifecycle from conceptual and process design to detailed engineering, fabrication, commissioning, and plant optimization. Our ethos is to offer nimble and flexible contracting approaches, including turnkey EPC, EPCM, or financed BOOT/M solutions. Telos Water's services encompass consulting, mine water treatment, water treatment plant design and construction, operation and maintenance services, seawater desalination, membrane technologies, and sewage treatment.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Process Engineer, located in the Johannesburg Metropolitan Area, with some work from home acceptable. The Process Engineer will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and controlling water treatment processes. Daily tasks include developing process design documents, performing process simulations, troubleshooting process issues, and ensuring that all engineering deliverables meet the project timelines and client requirements. Lead projects from development phase through to commissioning.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Process Design and Process Engineering
  • Expertise in Process Control and Analytical Skills
  • Background in Chemical Engineering
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with water management solutions is advantageous
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
  • Commissioning
  • Minimum 3 years water treatment experience
