Overview
This is an ideal position for a Chemical Engineer searching for an exciting career opportunity in a dynamic and rapidly growing global Agtech and Input Business. The Chemical Process Engineer position is a permanent position based in Wellington, Western Cape. This position will form part of the Process Engineering team.
Main Responsibilities- Assist with process technology development on bench, pilot, semi-commercial and commercial scale
- Optimise, and improve chemical, physical and biochemical processes to meet production goals and improve efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions
- Conduct process simulations and modelling to evaluate process performance and identify areas for improvement
- Troubleshoot process issues and develop effective solutions to minimise downtime and ensure optimal production
- Provide support in all phases of production, including end-product support
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs)
- Assist in the quality control process
- Provide technical support to various organisational departments and operations
- Assist in Product issues in the field and develop POKE YOKE’s to prevent reoccurrence of the issues
- Ad Hoc or other related duties as assignes
- Excellent work ethic

- Thorough understanding of processes, procedures, and systems
