Overview
Get SACE (soon to transition to Empower-Ed) is seeking an energetic, organised, and relationship-driven individual to join our team as a Professional Development & School Compliance Coordinator.
This hybrid role supports the management and growth of both our School CPTD Management Portfolio and Professional Development Portfolio, working closely with our National School Portfolio Manager to ensure seamless delivery, client satisfaction, and strategic growth across both areas.
Initially, this is a part-time contract designed to onboard and embed the successful candidate into our systems and operations, with a strong possibility of moving into a full-time role.
Key Responsibilities- Support & Coordination (CPTD Management)
- Assist with onboarding and supporting schools subscribed to our Monthly CPTD Management Service.
- Communicate with school leaders, HR teams, and teachers regarding SACE compliance, CPTD requirements, and profile updates.
- Ensure that all teacher data, points submissions, and compliance reports are tracked and managed efficiently through the Get SACE App and platform.
- Coordinate CPTD workshops and webinars with schools and teachers, ensuring attendance tracking and follow-up.
- Professional Development (PD) Portfolio Growth
- Assist in growing the Professional Development (PD) portfolio by coordinating provider communications, calendar listings, and teacher engagement initiatives.
- Help plan, promote, and manage online and in-person training sessions in partnership with our accredited PD Providers.
- Support the development of new PD offerings and contribute creative ideas for educator training and engagement.
- Relationship Management & Sales Support
- Maintain strong, supportive relationships with existing schools, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Identify opportunities to onboard new schools or providers through warm leads, referrals, and event connections.
- Represent Get SACE / Empower-Ed professionally at school visits, education conferences, and network events.
- Administrative & Reporting Duties
- Manage school files, client records, and internal communication systems.
- Support monthly reporting and assist in preparing CPTD compliance summaries for schools.
- Collaborate with internal team members to streamline communication, ensure accuracy, and maintain timelines.
- Location: Must be based in Johannesburg or surrounding area.
- Education: BEd / PGCE or relevant education or administration qualification preferred.
- Experience:
- Experience working in a school or education-related environment.
- Exposure to SACE, CPTD, or professional development systems advantageous.
- Customer service or account management experience a plus.
- Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Canva and digital communication tools.
- Able to multitask and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
- Confident, professional, and approachable in all client interactions.
