Responsibilities

Helping clients to navigate and extract data from the S&P Global Market Intelligence product range.

Provide assistance with building models using the S&P Global Market Intelligence Excel Plug-in.

Liaising with the content, commercial and technical teams to address any client queries and ensure our data is maintained to the highest standards.

On the later stages of development, proactively reaching out to clients to deliver demos and train them on our various offerings. Developing an understanding of the client's workflow prior to the training and provide tailored instructional content to help clients maximize their usage of the S&P Global Market Intelligence product range.

What We're Looking For

BSc or BA degree, or equivalent graduated no later than January 2026

A background in Business, Economics or Finance is beneficial but not a necessity.

Fluency in French or German languages.

The successful incumbent will play a leading role on the Dealing Desk, monitoring markets, effectively executing deals, and developing and implementing derivative and other strategies to generate additional alpha for the ultimate benefit of the clients invested in Futuregrowth's funds.

Key responsibilities of the position

  1. Executing deals (money market, capital market, derivatives, credit assets, forex, foreign bonds);
  2. Researching, developing and implementing derivative strategies for the range of funds under management;
  3. Analysing market liquidity to understand the spread and yield curves;
  4. Keeping abreast of economic and market developments and data releases to timeously assess the possible impact on various funds;
  5. Negotiating and implementing ISDA (International Swaps and Derivatives Agreement) and GMRA (Global Master Repurchase Agreement) arrangements with counter-parties;
  6. Maintaining the deal book;
  7. Administrating deals completed, including specialised asset administration;

Knowledge and experience required

o Good experience in an asset management environment (including experience in dealing, research and understanding the general principles of Fixed Income Portfolio Management) and/or a banking treasury trading environment; and

o Experience with instrument range across the fixed income spectrum, including derivatives and structured products.

Technical/professional qualifications:

o A tertiary qualification, with a focus on financial or mathematical subjects; and

o A postgraduate qualification or study towards one would be advantageous (e.g. Honours degree, CFA).
