About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Lead to join our dynamic team in South Africa. This role will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence within our client-facing campaign execution work. You will lead a team overseeing day-to-day campaign management, media execution, creative execution, and campaign reporting for brands on behalf of our retail clients.

Tracker is seeking a highly skilled Customer Value Management: Campaign Specialist to be located at Tracker’s Head office based in Johannesburg.Purpose of the role:Campaign Performance & Analysis: Conduct in-depth performance analysis to support the design, execution, and measurement of CVM campaigns across the customer lifecycle.Campaign Planning & Forecasting: Develop strategic plans and accurate forecasts for CVM campaigns and promotional offers.Operational & Strategic Support: Drive operational efficiency and informed decision-making by analysing subscriber data, creating business cases, and conducting financial assessments.System & Process Training: Train outsourced contact centres and internal teams on Tracker systems, campaign nuances, and best practices to ensure seamless execution and scalability.

Training & Documentation

  • Train outsourced contact centres and internal teams on Tracker systems, products, processes and campaign nuances.
  • Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for scalability.
  • Provide ongoing support and coaching to enhance operational efficiency.

Campaign Management & Performance

  • Design, plan and segment campaigns.
  • Track and optimize performance to ensure consultants meet targets.
  • Conduct performance analysis to improve CVM campaigns.
  • Develop detailed plans and accurate forecasts for campaigns and promotions.

Stakeholder & Process Alignment

  • Liaise with Finance, Marketing, BI, and Operations to align strategies.
  • Identify gaps in operational workflows to enhance efficiency.
  • Act as the primary contact for system-related queries, troubleshooting & processes.
  • Perform subscriber analysis and create business cases to support strategic decisions.
  • Engage in churn forum discussions.
  • Identify ARPU enhancement opportunities through data analysis.
  • Track and report on CVM campaigns to manage the customer lifecycle.
  • Present data-driven business case propositions for campaign optimization.
  • Implement strategies to enhance customer value, customer experience and retention.
  • National Diploma in Call Centre Management, Marketing Management or a related field. NQF level 6 qualification.
  • FAIS and/or RE5 Advantageous
  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years of Contact Centre experience in commercial operations/revenue generating environments and customer engagement initiatives, leveraging data-driven insights for decision-making.
  • Experience in campaign performance analysis and forecasting.
  • Background in training teams on systems and processes, ensuring operational efficiency and scalability.
  • Track record demonstrating strong analytical, operational and business strategy skills.
  • Track record demonstrating proficiency in working with large datasets using tools such as advanced Excel & QlikSense.
  • Track record demonstrating ability to communicate findings effectively, both verbally and visually.
  • Track record demonstrating ability to analyse qualitative and quantitative data and use that data to develop an understanding of market & consumer behaviour to recommend an appropriate treatment plan.
  • Excellent understanding of Tracker systems, products and processes will be advantageous.

What We’re Looking For:

The Analyst, Marketing Strategy and Analysis is responsible for supporting digital marketing budget management and performance reporting across 2U’s online programs. The role focuses on optimizing paid marketing tactics (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn, Partnerships) and generating actionable insights to improve program health. The Analyst will work closely with senior team members to analyze performance data, execute test strategies, and provide marketing recommendations aligned with KPIs and ROI targets.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

Analysis:

  • Actively manages the marketing spend of assigned programs.
  • Monitor and report on marketing performance metrics for assigned programs.
  • Identify trends, troubleshoot underperformance, and provide data-driven insights.
  • Support segmentation analysis to understand audience behavior and program dynamics.
  • Assist in the development and interpretation of A/B testing and performance experiments.
  • Use data tools such as Excel, SQL, or visualization platforms (Tableau preferred) to deliver actionable reports.

Planning and Execution:

  • Manages monthly marketing plans and campaign spend across selected programs.
  • Track budgets and contribute to projections of marketing ROI.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support marketing campaigns.
  • Proactively recommend budget reallocations based on real-time data.

Project Management:

  • Participate in new program launches and ongoing marketing projects.
  • Coordinate timelines, gather inputs, and ensure data readiness for projects.
  • Provide analytical support for cross-team initiatives tied to program success.

Things That Should Be In Your Background:

  • Has a Bachelor’s degree (from a business, economics, or math related field is a plus)
  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, analytics, or relevant business using data to solve problems
  • Has a working knowledge of Excel, and some previous exposure to SQL or other databases
  • Experience working with media engines, such as Adwords, web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, and data visualization tools, such as Tableau preferred.
  • Is looking for the opportunity to set business strategy
  • Has a keen interest in digital marketing (prior experience a plus, but not required)
  • Is adept at problem solving and can balance creativity with analytical skills

What We’re Looking For:

The Senior Analyst, Marketing Strategy and Analysis is responsible for the monthly digital marketing budget and projected return on investment across a portfolio of online executive education programs. The Senior Analyst, Marketing Strategy and Analysis will be directly responsible for managing a portfolio of paid tactics (Facebook, LinkedIn, Search, etc.) across programs with high complexity and revenue impact for the business. This role has ownership of day-to-day optimizing of the health of programs within purview against KPI’s and is responsible for accurate management of spend.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

Analysis:

  • Actively manages the marketing spend of online short courses within the executive education business line
  • Accountable for proactively problem solving on key program/vertical challenges
  • Uses strong understanding of program audience segmentation to drive growth
  • Actively identifies and executes testing with clear hypothesis and learning agenda
  • Uses statistics and analytical methods to strategically approach programs within scope

Planning and Execution:

  • Owns program budget and marketing tactic management for high-impact programs/verticals
  • Creates and soundly articulates monthly marketing plan to leadership featuring both short-term and long-term strategic thinking
  • Soundly speculates upon projected conversion of paid tactics and likely ROI of marketing spend for programs/verticals within scope
  • Identifies and executes upon strong/weak spend opportunities with limited direction from management
  • Dynamically and impactfully updates marketing plan using real-time data

Project Management:

  • Responsible for successful and timely completion of both BAU and high-impact projects including new program launches through collaboration with Manager
  • Go-to owner of 2 or more business-critical projects
  • Influences other teams to deliver projects critical to program growth or health

Things That Should Be In Your Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree (from a business, economics, or math related field is a plus)
  • 4-7 years of experience in marketing, analytics, or relevant business using data to solve problems
  • Working knowledge of Excel, and some previous exposure to SQL or other databases
  • Experience working with media engines, such as Adwords, web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, and data visualization tools, such as Tableau preferred.
  • Looking for the opportunity to set business strategy
  • Keen interest in digital marketing (prior experience a plus, but not required)
  • Adept at problem solving and can balance creativity with analytical skills

  • Soundly speculates upon projected conversion of marketing tactics and likely ROI of spend for programs/verticals within scope
  • Performs analysis on program health and identifies trends impacting KPI’s, and highlights key discrepancies versus expectations to leadership
  • Performs ad-hoc analysis as needed to support the larger team
  • Acts as subject matter expert in 1+ key team functions

Planning:

  • Works with leadership to set the monthly paid digital marketing strategy and budget for 2-3 2U programs
  • Creates deliverables conveying detailed marketing plan on a monthly basis
  • Effectively articulates monthly marketing plan to leadership and makes necessary edits based on feedback

Project Management:

  • Responsible for successful and timely completion of both BAU and ad-hoc projects through collaboration with leadership
  • Owner of several key reporting/functional projects on behalf of the team

Key Responsibilities: 
● Develop and implement compelling content and marketing campaign strategies across multiple 
channels. 
◠Collaborate with internal teams, external agencies, and influencers to bring campaign concept to life

● Ove e and grow our social media presence with strong brand storytelling.

● a campaign and content performance using relevant analytics tools. 
● r performance insights into clear reports and actionable improvements. 
● a current with digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices. 
● s t in creating and designing campaign visuals and advertising material. 

Experience: 

● Mi m 2 years of digital marketing experience with a strong focus on content and campaign 
management. 
● Pr e ability to work across multiple brands or projects simultaneously. 
● c ative mindset with strong attention to detail and a good eye for design and storytelling. 
● n dent using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite) to track performance and 
report insights. 
● Fa l rity with SEO and how it applies to content strategy. 
● p ience with e-commerce platforms like Shopify or Zoho ECommerce. 
● Pro c ncy in Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
◠Comfortable working with influencers and coordinating content collaborations.
