Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Real Estate Asset Management Analyst to support the management of a portfolio of 20 industrial and office properties located in the Western U.S. This role, reporting directly to the Commercial Asset Manager , is ideal for candidates with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in real estate asset management, particularly in areas such as budgeting, valuation, lease support, and financial performance tracking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to forecast income, expenses, and cash flow for individual properties as well as the broader portfolio.
- Property Valuation: Conduct property valuations using industry-standard methodologies to assess the current and projected asset value.
- Performance Monitoring: Analyze property-level and portfolio-wide performance metrics to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for operational and financial improvements.
- Business Plan Development: Assist in the creation and execution of strategic business plans aimed at enhancing property value and achieving optimal investment returns.
- Leasing Support: Provide support in lease negotiations and collaborate with leasing agents. Review lease abstracts and ensure that terms align with overall investment goals.
- Capital Budgeting: Help develop and manage capital expenditure budgets related to property improvements, repairs, and renovations.
- Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present monthly and quarterly variance reports, comparing actual performance against budgeted goals. Assist with underwriting and effectively communicate findings through presentations and reports to internal teams, investors, partners, and lenders.
Required Qualifications:

- Strong understanding of commercial real estate metrics and valuation principles.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, particularly for financial modeling.
- Experience with accounting software (Yardi preferred).
- Familiarity with Argus is a plus (but not required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
