Job Purpose:
We are looking for a driven, strategic, and hands-on Brand, Communications & Marketing Strategist to lead the development and execution of brand positioning and communication strategies within the construction and building materials industry. This role will ensure that global brand messaging is aligned with the technical innovation and excellence of our product portfolio — spanning infrastructure, waterproofing, and high-performance construction solutions — and translate this into focused, impactful marketing campaigns that drive market success.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy & Positioning
- Develop and evolve the brand’s identity within the construction, retail and transportation industry, ensuring alignment with global guidelines and local market relevance.
- Identify market trends and customer insights to position the brand as a leader in innovation, sustainability, and reliability.
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive overall brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, digital, product, sales, etc.) to align marketing initiatives with business objectives.
Marketing Campaign Development
- Support other marketing teams with campaign ideas for product launches, seasonal promotions, roadshows, webinars, trade events and contractor engagement.

Collaboration & Project Leadership
- Act as the brand custodian working across all departments: sales, technical, logistics, and HR.
- Present campaign strategies, plans, and KPIs to Managing Direction and Target Market Managers as required.
Requirements & Skills:
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (BCom or Honours advantageous)
- 5+ years of experience in brand and marketing strategy
- An understanding of industry dynamics and the marketing of technical products
- Exceptional copywriting, campaign planning, and storytelling skills
