**The Segment Content Marketing and Campaigns Manager** has global responsibility for developing the segment positioning, integrated marketing strategy and associated demand generation activities for the Data Centers segment. This is a pivotol role that will work closely with commercial leaders of the segment, business units, sales and field marketing organizations to design and develop integrated marcom campaigns that help position Eaton as a thought leader and preferred partner on the most important power management challenges facing customers. This role will drive measurable and significant improvements to customer preference for Eaton and demand generation for strategic revenue-generating products (hardware, software and services) and will achieve these objectives by delivering tailored and engaging content to support customers, as well as Eaton sellers, at all stages in their buying journey. This role will leverage regional and local input in the development of the campaign strategy and work closely with field teams to drive campaign activation and optimization.
**Main Responsibilities:**
+ Differentiating Eaton with an integrated marketing strategy that build engagement and trust between Eaton and its customers in that segment across all relevant geographies.
+ Development of integrated marketing campaigns that drive demand generation for strategic revenue-generating offers (as defined by segment strategy teams) in the segment (hardware, software and services)
+ Developing the campaign content and audience engagement strategy, as well as GTM approach (working closely with all relevant commercial and CoE leaders)
+ Leading development of the segment message map and buyer journey maps (including definition of scenarios)
+ Orchestrating development and continuous data-informed optimization of integrated campaign journeys
+ Measurably contributing to the achievement of the segment growth plan by supporting buyers across each stage of their buying journey with highly relevant and useful content - accessible both through self-serve digital channels as well as the content used to support customer-to sales agent engagements
+ Defining campaign success metrics and the review cadence with all contributing teams to ensure demand generation objectives realized and continuous optimization of campaign results and customer engagement metrics
+ Working closely with field marcom teams to constantly optimize campaigns based on all available engagement data.
+ Overseeing the identification of all required sales enablement materials for both direct and indirect sellers so they are able to effectively convert demand generated by campaigns.
+ Accountability: Campaigns this role develops must support and be aligned to Eaton's strategic growth objectives for the segment they are responsible for supporting (rigorous standard planning process will be followed to ensure buyer needs at the center)
+ Field marketing collaboration: Essential to closely involve field marketing in every stage of the process to ensure strong alignment and regional/local relevance of all integrated campaigns, field marketing experience a plus
+ Data-informed: Build and optimize campaigns using a data-informed approach at all times
+ Agile: The Segment Content Marketing leader will act as Product Owner of a Scrum team and as such will be responsible for ensuring an agile, customer-centric working methodology adhered to in how the team operates
**Qualifications:**
+ Minimum bachelor level degree from accredited institution
+ 10+ years of marketing communications experience
+ Industry experience from Data Centers

Dis-Chem Pharmacies (CJ Marketing) has an opportunity available for a CJM Marketing & Brand Manager to join their Delmas team to drive implementation of the marketing strategy, operational plan and performance targets for areas of responsibilities. Provide marketing direction and support across the business. To lead and manage teams to ensure the company’s brands and its industry services are effectively promoted, aligned with corporate identity guidelines and aimed at the right audience within their campaigns. Ensure suppliers are kept informed about all marketing offerings and services that are available through CJ Distribution (“CJD”).
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Degree in Marketing
- Minimum of 5 -7 years marketing management experience in Retail Pharmacy

Marketing Operations Strategy Implementation:
- Develop and implement the marketing strategy in line with the company strategic plans for the CJD brand.
- Continuously measure the effectiveness of all marketing and communications campaigns against ROI and specific key performance indicators and make changes where appropriate.
- Manage the communication of products’ promotional activities across all marketing channels and product categories.
- Allocate and manage the marketing budget in line with the objectives of the organization.
- Analyse client behaviour and market segments and adjust actions accordingly.
- Manage and implement various marketing initiatives with the marketing team in conjunction with internal stakeholders.
- Develop and manage pharmacy centric communication campaigns in order to improve user interface, co-developing collateral materials with brand manager and production department.
- Conduct ongoing research to analyze targeted client behaviour and competitive landscape for CJD.
- Oversee corporate communication, including internal communication, communications with various contacts.
- Optimize and continue revenue streams from suppliers by promoting CJD publications.
- Manage content development for digital advertising and social media with vendors and agencies.
- Marketing agency operations’ OD planning and implementation.
Brand & Project Management:
- Develop and implement brand strategy and plan to increase market share and drive revenue generation within the context of utilising internal and external analysis as well as competitor, consumer and industry trend insights.
- Ensure brand positioning and the communication platform resonates with the identified target market to deliver aligned and impactful marketing campaigns, promotions, activations, digital and social executions as well as innovation.
- Source suppliers based on the annual branding project plan.
- Plan annual branding projects with each brand’s management and review on a quarterly basis.
- Provide briefs on the target market and establish branding requirements of projects.
- Manage projects and/or events in conjunction with third party or in-house agencies.
- Provide full analysis and evaluation of project outcomes and feedback to Head of Marketing
- Coordinate all project objectives and provide summarized feedback upon project completion.
- Set and confirm project budgets accordingly.
- Implementation of cost efficient and effective brand interactions ensuring the achievement of objectives within the set budgets communication to merchants and retailers.
- Negotiate and communicate the briefing of project plans with the respective stakeholders.
- Ensure the stages of the project are met according to client and creative brief, budget, resource and deadline deliverables.
Social Media & Digital Marketing:
- Maintain social media content strategy and facilitate objectives like building page followers, posting and creating content, enhancing page engagement, creating new and maintaining current relationships.
- Manage media agencies, if applicable, and control the costs thereof.
- Manage the implementation of digital strategy with brand manager for guidance of digital advertising content/message.
- Evaluate digital-related activities by creating and executing a strong digital strategy with a clear and detailed plan for all media channels.
- Ensure that all signage, social and digital material are designed, developed and approved for distribution to various pharmacies.
- Oversee various media platforms such as social media, search engines and email campaigns to attract and facilitate purchases.
- Conduct analysis on all social media platforms and search engine platforms and advice on campaigns to increase brand presence.
- Marketing Strategy to get a holistic view of the brand objectives of each represented brand as provided by marketing managers and suggest the best execution channels/methods.
- Copywrite by ensuring proper briefs about tone, frequency, deadlines and other brand message elements.
- Ensure the tone of voice of all communications brands are continuously evaluated for relevance, efficacy and target market response.
Campaign Management:
- Create detailed reports for business leadership that identify and track marketing campaigns, demand generation efforts, and sales trends.
- Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns/ initiatives, gain insight and assess against goals.
- Design and build marketing data, reporting, analytics, attribution, and testing structures that are accurate and reliable.
- Spearhead initiatives such as corporate identity and communication development for various brands.
- Lead digital-related activities for our key strategic brands, including creating and executing a strong digital strategy with a clear and detailed plan for paid, owned and earned media channels.
- Manage the marketing database for greater campaign efficiency and effectiveness.
- Design and document processes streamline interactions between customers and marketing systems.
- Facilitate the effective delivery of all campaigns.
- Operationalize, align and optimize large strategic marketing projects related to CJD.
- Oversee short/medium terms planning and optimize resource allocation across projects.
- Plan Channel Marketing to promote brand awareness through branding content, for relevant brands.
- Ensure branding content and creative output are approved.
- Brand Design in ensuring CI principles are met and consistently implemented. Evaluating the efficacy and need for changes from time to time.
- Advise on UX / UI Design on the look and feel of all own brands.
Stakeholder Management:
- Be an active member of the internal cross-functional team, with frequent engagement to ensure accurate delivery of projects.
- Foster great working relationships with relevant stakeholders through active leadership to achieve brand objectives.
- Build a trusting relationship with relevant stakeholders with frequent updates on projects status and dependencies (i.e. content, feedback).
- Collaborate with finance and sales departments to maintain an accurate view of marketing performance.
- Negotiate vendor supply contracts where necessary.
- Collect reports on key business metrics to ensure all campaign activities are translated into strategic business objectives and create value for customers and shareholders.
- Facilitate approval for all content relating to organizations reputations destined for internal and external publication.
- Establish, build and maintain strong relationships between brands and their customers.
Team Management:
- Manage team and ensure continuous improvement and professional development through the implementation of principles and workflows.
- Oversee and manage the implementation of effective employee performance.
- Guide team members on marketing initiatives and/or campaigns to ensure successful implementation best practices and strategies.
- Identify training needs within the team and collaborate with the Learning and Development department to identify appropriate training.
- Knowledge of marketing practices and principles
- In depth knowledge of the Retail, Beauty, FMCG, Health and Pharmacy industry within South Africa
