The role involves assisting in the coordination, implementation, and support of the company's Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) management systems within AGL operations. The QHSE Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring compliance with legislation, industry standards, and company policies, and in promoting a culture of safety and quality across all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Health & Safety: Support monitoring of safety standards and safe work practices; assist with risk assessments, safety audits, and workplace inspections; help in incident investigations and root cause analysis; monitor safety procedures and escalate non-conformities; promote safety awareness through talks, campaigns, and training.
- Environmental Management: Assist in ensuring adherence to environmental regulations; support environmental risk assessments; help monitor environmental factors and maintain records; conduct emergency drills and prepare environmental response materials.
- Compliance & Reporting: Maintain QHSE documentation per ISO standards; support audits; track corrective actions and maintain compliance records.
- Quality Management: Manage standards as per Bosch; implement and monitor 6s process; coordinate QMS documentation; track non-conformities and improvements; support audits; handle customer complaints; participate in quality checks and training needs identification; promote quality awareness.
- Training & Communication: Assist in scheduling safety, environmental, and quality training; support BBS program rollout.
- Delegation & Authority: Report QHSE concerns; escalate hazards; contribute to safety by timely reporting.
- NQF level 5 Safety Course or SAMTRAC (preferred)
- 2-3 years in a QHSE role within logistics
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and ISO standards
- Experience in food safety warehouse handling (preferred)
- Incident investigation techniques knowledge
- General Safety Administration experience

An automotive OEM company based in Pretoria is looking for a Robotics Team Leader to lead the team (Technicians/Artisans) who are maintaining robotic equipment and/or related automated production systems while ensuring equipment uptime by reducing Mean Time To Repair and proactively planning preventative measures.
Duties & Responsibilities- Maintain the 5S standard by ensuring shadow boards are clean, organized, fully labeled and containing all the necessary spare parts to reduce the MTTR.
- Ensure maintenance toolboxes are clean, organized, controlled and are available adjacent to the Artisan/Technician area.
- Ensure CMs are captured and closed on time and actions are defined in CCMD/EM.
- Ensure 100% completion of PMs on a weekly basis within scheduled timing.
- Perform 1 PJO per day with the artisan and improvements identified and captured in GPA. PJO are captured in a PJO folder.
- Ensure action plans are defined to avoid re-occurrence of volume losses. Implemented actions showing performance improvements. Proactive approach to Maintenance Operating System (MOS).
- Responsible approach to all Safety standard regulations like work permits, PTA, Start-Card etc.
- Pro-active maintenance planning during production stops.
- N5 -N6 Plus Electrical or Mechanical Trade Certificate, National Diploma/ S4 Electrical/Mechatronic.
- Minimum of 2-3 years within the Automotive Industry.
- Must have at least 2 years supervisory or team leading experience.
- 3 years Manufacturing experience in a body shop environment will be advantageous.
- Fault finding ability, Electrical and Mechanical.
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
- Siemens S7 PLC fault finding and programming skill.
- Allen Bradley PLC fault finding and programming skill.
- Kawasaki Robot fault finding and programming skill.
- HMI – Win CC Scada faultfinding and programming skill.
- Allen Bradley Scada faultfinding and programming skill.
- SEW – Drive fault finding and programming skill.
- Auto Sealer systems.
- Network interface fault finding, WFI, Profibus.
