Role Overview:
The BIM Coordinator is a project specific role accountable for the successful implementation of Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes and standards on the project. This individual collaborates closely with the project team, Project Executive, and Business Unit BIM Manager to ensure the efficient and effective use of BIM technology and methodologies. The most senior BIM coordinator on a project typically acts as the BIM Lead/Manager for the project.
Role responsibilities:
- Organise and lead weekly interdisciplinary model coordination meetings to resolve interface issues and maintain consistent Level of Information Need (LOIN).
- Establish project BIM coordination & collaboration strategy via workflow diagram (Zutmap), seek BIM manager sign off, communicate to all stakeholders, and implement.
- Define the project scope with the Project Executive and BIM Manager, especially in terms of appointing parties.
- Collaborate with the BIM Manager and Information Manager to establish and maintain the project’s common data environment (CDE).
- Initiate and maintain cadence of model federation with all project stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely information exchange.
- Own project implementation of the Zutari baseline LOIN, authoring templates and content libraries.
- Co-develop (with the BIM Manager) the BEP/MIDP/TIDP/Scope Clarification, Capability/Capacity Assessments, information production methods & procedures, project information protocol and maintain these during project delivery.
- Ensure ongoing project adherence to the BEP and EIRs via a planned audit schedule.
- Evaluate and test BIM technologies/workflows as required by the project and ISO19650.
- Identify opportunities for efficiency enhancement in the BIM process and implement.
- Excellent communicator with 5 – 10 years industry experience in BIM coordination.
- Problem solver with advanced modelling, federation & information management skills.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 19650 and ISO 7817.
- Skilled in Autodesk (Revit, C3D, P3D, Navisworks, Inventor, ACC) and/or Bentley suite.
- Familiarity with Plannerly, Solibri, BIMcollab, Dynamo and Python desirable.
- Project management experience / BIM, engineering, architecture, or construction management degree advantageous.

Role Purpose
JLL is looking for BIM Coordinator with strong Interior Design capability to work with a global corporate client on interior office projects and retail bank branches.
As BIM Coordinator, you will need strong Interior Design capability to work with a global corporate client on interior office projects and retail bank branches You will undertake BIM management activities for all projects falling under the Design Hub scope. This includes:
Primary point of contact between the clients BIM information manager and the JLL Design hub.
Ensuring successful digital project execution and, where necessary, reporting to the clients BIM information manager whilst ensuring the BIM objectives of JLL are in line with those of the client.
Monitoring the use of the CDE platform for information sharing.
Ongoing development and management of the Design Hub Revit template including updates as per requirements/changes of deliverables.
Creating and maintaining protocol documents in line with template usage and processes.
Incorporating quantities and costing into the models based on joint efforts with the Cost Manager for quick BOQ estimates. Knowledge in Sigma beneficial.
Carbon accounting to be included in all template elements.
Provide training and assistance to Design Hub team members where necessary, regarding template and protocols.
Keeping abreast with latest BIM developments and innovations, thus streamlining internal processes.
The individual will also need to perform Interior Design activities. The candidate should be creative, detail- orientated with good interpersonal skills. This includes:
Space planning, concept and detailed design development using corporate standards and ensuring production is within agreed SLA's.
Technical documentation abilities and understanding of BIM Collaborate space.
Work efficiently within a quick turnaround time on small to medium sized projects.
Attend meetings, present, and engage with Project Managers when required.
Specification of materials and furnishings, such as lighting, furniture, wall finishes & flooring, etc. within a budget.
Desired skills and experience for the above role:
Qualification in Interior Design or related field.
Proven work experience in designing of interior spaces (advantage if these are corporate, and retail).
Portfolio of design work.
Computer – technology – program skills & proficient in-Space Planning.
Revit skills compulsory.
BIM Modeling in design.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
The ability to learn new skills quickly; and to adapt to a new environment and operate effectively and efficiently within a short space of time.

Role overview
The role retains accountability for the implementation of BIM across all projects within a business unit (BU). The BIM manager is the primary point of contact for BIM in a BU and reports to the BU MD or Director of Operations.
Role responsibilities
- Functionally lead the team of BIM coordinators, modellers, detailers and Information managers in the BU, develop real-time visibility of their day-to-day capacity, assess their capability and initiate training/mentoring as required.
- Review the scope off all incoming projects and lead completion of the preflight checklist at the price/plan and mobilisation stage of all projects.
- Provide project specific support to BIM coordinators and Information Managers, typically at the start of the project but also as required during the delivery stages.
- Support data integration initiatives to allow more objective project performance tracking via the BIM Data Platform and BIM Dashboard.
- Work closely with Project Executives to ensure projects are resourced with the right people in time to ensure efficient project BIM execution and resource utilisation.
- Co-develop and function as owner of the baseline workflows for the BU.
- Owner of the Zutari baseline LOIN and authoring templates for the BU.
- Manage BIM software use & selection within the BU to optimise token use.
- Lead innovation and experimentation with new BIM technologies within the BU.
- Act as lead BIM data custodian for the BU.
- 5 – 10 years BIM management experience.
- Operam Information Management Professional accreditation.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Advanced technical expertise relevant to the respective business unit.
- Advanced modelling, federation, and information management skills.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 19650 and ISO 7817.
