IntroductionTo maximise selling opportunities by providing consistently exceptional customer experience and ensuring profitability in leading the Beauty team to meet and or exceed targets.
- Responsible for stock management disciplines, stock losses and shrinkage at store level daily
- Recruit, develop, retain and lead a competent and motivated Beauty Team to deliver against the Beauty Budget
- Manage sales activities on a day-to day basis with agreed performance measures
- Manage the commission process in the Store – e.g. give input for budgets, communicate targets to Beauty Consultants, monitor performance against targets
- Maximise promotional sales through effective planning and implementation of promotions and special events in conjunction with the Beauty Brand Houses
- Build effective relationships with the Area Representatives from the Brand Houses to ensure support for promotions and events
- Provide input into the Stores Operating Plan
- Delivery of good housekeeping principles
Technical Skills:
- Degree / Diploma or relevant qualification
- Minimum of 5 years in team leadership role
- Minimum of 5 years retail experience
- Experience in managing a team for a Beauty Counter / Beauty Department / Beauty Shop would be advantageous

- Develop and motivate the Beauty Managers' ability to become business unit Managers and influence store structure to support Beauty Manager.
- Support and develop a relationship with the Beauty Trainer to execute WBeauty strategy to assist Beauty Managers and Consultants in driving the top-line.
- Identify and manage beauty catalogue threats/opportunities for all stores within the division and equip stores to manage stock levels.
- Support and provide feedback to the Sales Manager to ensure execution of model store, trading notes, successful store openings and revamps, new and existing brands, special occasions floor plans, and management of department floor plans/layouts and equipment.
- Assist in the Entry and Exit of Brands.
- 5 years beauty management retail experience with proven ability to motivate and lead a sales team.
- Relevant diploma/degree in marketing/selling and/or beauty management.
- A code 08 Driver’s Licence is essential for this position.
- Retail knowledge.
- A thorough knowledge of beauty brands and products.
- A strong understanding of the beauty process including the generation of customer loyalty and the achievement of customer growth and service levels.
- Training and coaching experience.
