Job Objectives:

- To drive and maximise sales of the beauty department through the promotion, cross-selling and up-selling in order to ensure that monthly targets are consistently met.
- To monitor sales, regularly evaluate the performance of products and offer suggestions that results in improved product offerings and increased sales.
- To maintain updated knowledge on all beauty products, ranges, trends, promotions and events in order to provide the correct information to customers at all times.
- To efficiently execute all operational activities within the beauty department, including effective stock management, minimising shrinkage and ensuring a high standard of general housekeeping and administration.
- To ensure all in-store visual merchandising, in-store presentation and promotional standards within the beauty department are consistently met.
- To deliver superior customer service by acting as a brand ambassador, being visible and offering a friendly and professional service.
- To promote the Clicks clubcard and to enroll new clubcard members in order to achieve the clubcard participation targets.
- To increase profitability and brand loyalty with the customers through the promotion of private label and exclusive products.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Our client is urgently seeking a dynamic and motivated External Sales Consultant to join their team in the beauty industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships, introducing new products, conducting store visits, and providing exceptional service to valued customers.
Requirements- Proficiency in managing an online diary, supported by our administrative team.
- Computer skills are essential, with familiarity in the following software:
- Microsoft OneDrive for file sharing
- Microsoft Outlook for emails and calendar management
- Microsoft Excel
- Ability to take orders during client visits and accurately enter them into our online ordering portal both during regular hours and after hours as needed.
- Prior on-the-road sales experience and professional training or experience in nail services.
- Ownership of a reliable vehicle, a valid driver's license, and insurance coverage for rentals in case of vehicle unavailability due to accidents or mechanical failures.
- Proficiency in English is required; Afrikaans proficiency is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, administrative, and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to complete tasks promptly and seek support when necessary.
- Adapt at managing multiple communication tools and software, such as WhatsApp, email, phone calls, and online diary.
- Willingness to learn and adhere to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Must be able to work a schedule that includes starting the first appointment at 8:30 AM and concluding the last appointment at 4:45 PM, followed by a mandatory 15-minute daily debrief with the sales team.
- Mandatory attendance at bimonthly internal training sessions, scheduled before or after standard working hours.
- Expected to conduct 5 to 8 client visits per day, depending on the working area, with all visits scheduled in advance and pre-booked for the following two months.
Remuneration:
R20 000 p.m (gross)
The successful candidate will inherit a robust, pre-established client base.
Petrol card provided for work-related travel.
Phone and tablet, including minutes and data, supplied for work-related communications and tasks.
