Our client requires the services of a detail-oriented Banking Administrator to join their team.
Duties & ResponsibilitiesKey performance areas:
- Uploading beneficiaries on online banking systems after verification.
- Ensure all payments are fully authorised.
- Process all payments daily.
- Preparing payments lists for payruns.
- Print proof of payments, save on SharePoint and send to customers and managers.
- Download supplier invoices from POS, save on SharePoint and mail to customers.
- Processing foreign exchange payments, booking FX rates and submitting supporting documents.
- Preparing and attending to all banking applications (financing and cards etc.)
- Availability after hours for unplanned payments and transfers.
- Attend to all bank-related queries.
The successful candidate must have:
- Matric with a Diploma in Bookkeeping or any relevant qualification.
- At least 3 years relevant working experience in a similar position.
- Computer literate – (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Working knowledge of SharePoint will be advantageous.
- Must have exceptional attention to detail.
- Must be honest, confidential, and reliable.
- Must have excellent communication skills.

Proactive arrears and default management:
- Obtain approval from the relevant credit committees regarding changes in members/trustees/directors and sureties of pre-legal arrear clients.
- Obtain approval from the relevant credit committees on the release or leasing of security (person and/or property).
Stakeholder Relationship Management
- Actively gather and analyse feedback from stakeholders to enhance the application process.
- Implement changes and improvements based on feedback to ensure the continuous progression of applications.
- Ensure effective collaboration with internal stakeholders to meet business needs.
Process Improvements
- Continuously refine and optimise application strategies to increase the likelihood of approval.
