The Successful candidate will be responsible for:

  6. Risk management
  7. Ensure all Project Issues are properly reported
  8. Assist Group Financial Management Team with all financial reporting requirements
  9. Assist with IT Audit requirements
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information / Business Systems
  • Proven experience as a Financial Business Analysis Manager
Job Experience & Skills Required:
  • 5 to 7 years experience within a similar role

About Role

The SAP Fioneer Banking Functional Consultant will play a leading role in the SAP functional team within the Banking Business Unit. They will be responsible for both sales and delivery of SAP banking related projects. This includes sales and pre-sales activities of opportunity identification, pre-sales presentation and proposal writing and submission. Responsibilities and Deliverables:
  • Your deliverables as a SAP Banking Functional Consultant will include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Providing SAP Banking functional expertise to internal stakeholders
  • Participate in the development and implementation of the SAP team strategy
  • Training and mentorship of junior resources
  • Maintain, enhance, and broaden knowledge and skills of SAP Banking applications, industry best practices and developments
  • Interact with clients to provide them insights and possibilities within the Banking domain to help shape and craft their transformation journeys, with specific focus on the SAP functional capabilities
  • Interact with clients, consultatively, to determine project requirements and needs analysis
  • Present the Banking capabilities and specific solution required to the client, with specific focus on the functional capabilities of the SAP Banking software
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals for clients in accordance with pre-defined standards and procedures
  • Establish and/or assist client with controls based on client's business practices and processes; recommend best practices; review setup with clients and gain client acceptance.
  • Use subject matter knowledge to advise the client on the most suitable options, including when to make use of standard capabilities or when customization is required
  • Assess and report risks during project and participate in the development and implementation of mitigation plans
  • Communicate project scope, status, and risks to all stakeholders
  • Record accurate and timely accounting of time spent on project related activities
  • Follow established project, departmental, company procedures and quality standards
  • Follow established project management standards.
  • Provide activities related to the management of assigned implementation projects to bring the project to a timely close and transition the client appropriately
  • Complete post-implementation tasks in a timely manner
  • Update internal documentation as applicable
Requirements:
  • Minimum Honours degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related technology field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the banking domain, including specific experience in the SAP Banking software suite
  • Proven industry relevant track record of in-depth knowledge of SAP functional capabilities, implementations, associated standards, practices and regulations
  • Client facing service experience required. Engagement across stakeholders and ability to run information gathering and sharing sessions
  • Experience with various project management disciplines preferred
  • Experience with Core Banking Transformation programs at various levels

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Sourcing and validating resolution funding and collateral-related data from multiple source systems.
  • Performing data and process gap analyses aligned to SARBs Resolution Funding expectations.
  • Assisting in the design and build of the funding estimation and forecasting model.
  • Developing dashboards and reports to support resolution funding MIS and internal governance.
  • Engaging with Treasury, Risk, Finance, and IT stakeholders to ensure alignment and interlock of data sources.
  • Supporting the process analysis required for embedding new funding processes in resolution scenarios.
  • Documenting requirements and maintaining traceability across data, systems, and reporting layers.
  • Build the internal capabilities to estimate, manage, and report the institutions funding and liquidity position in resolution scenarios, in line with SARBs requirements under the Financial Sector Laws Amendment Act (FSLAA).
This role will contribute to delivering key components of the resolution funding strategy, including:
  • Resolution cost estimation.
  • Forecasting and MIS solutions for resolution funding.
  • Scenario analysis and modelling for liquidity shortfalls.
  • Governance and compliance framework development.
  • ELA collateral assessment and FMI liquidity gap identification.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum 5 years experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

A leader within the retail industry is looking for an experienced Business Analysis Manager to join the team. This proudly South African company has been in existence for over half a century and has grown into a leader within the market.

The Successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Coaching and leading the business analysis team
  2. Strategic thinking in how to provide the best solution for the business
  3. Business process design and documentation expertise
  4. Improving the quality of the business analysis team
  5. Identifying business opportunities
  6. Risk management
  7. Ensuring all Project Issues are properly reported
  8. Assisting Group Financial Management Team with all financial reporting requirements
  9. Assisting with IT Audit requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information / Business Systems
  • Proven experience as a Financial Business Analysis Manager

Job Experience & Skills Required:

  • 5 to 7 years experience within a similar role

Package & Remuneration:

R 8000 - R 9000 - Annually

Role Overview

Lead the end-to-end delivery of our payroll services, government contracts, and SAAS product portfolio, translating strategic objectives into measurable business outcomes. This role combines programme governance, technical leadership, and business analysis to drive operational excellence across all initiatives.

Scope & Impact

  • Portfolio Ownership: Orchestrate multiple programmes spanning payroll operations, government tenders, and SAAS product launches
  • Process Excellence: Implement agile/hybrid frameworks tailored to technical and operational projects
  • Resource Coordination: Optimize capacity across internal teams (development, payroll, compliance) and external vendors
  • Performance Visibility: Deliver real-time insights on scope, schedule, budget, and risks to executive stakeholders
  • Continuous Improvement: Institutionalize best practices from SAAS launches and government contract deliveries

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Execution

  • Align programmes with company OKRs through quarterly roadmaps, risk registers, and budget plans
  • Chair sprint reviews and steering committees for SAAS products and government projects

Delivery Management

  • Ensure 90%+ on-time milestone delivery across all initiatives (see Success Metrics)
  • Maintain ≤10% budget variance through rigorous cost tracking and forecasting

Technical & Compliance Leadership

  • Oversee system integrations (APIs, payroll platforms) and data governance (GDPR, industry regulations)
  • Limit post-release defects to ≤3% through quality assurance protocols

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Deliver executive updates and client reports with actionable insights
  • Achieve ≥+40 stakeholder NPS/CSAT through transparent communication

Success Metrics

KPI Target Measurement

Budget adherence. ≤10% Variance vs. approved plan

Risk mitigation ≥80% High-severity risks resolved on schedule

Product quality ≤3% Post-release defect rate

Required Expertise

Experience

  • 5+ years managing technical/operational programmes in SAAS, payroll, or government sectors
  • Proven track record launching products and delivering complex, multi-team initiatives

Technical Skills

  • Financial and contract management proficiency

Certifications (Preferred)

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or PMI-ACP
  • Flexibility: Hybrid work with quarterly on-site collaboration

First 90 Days

  • Weeks 1-2: Audit portfolio health; validate KPIs with leadership

SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:

The External Consultant will be responsible for the acquisition of new business clients (with a turnover of R 600 m + as well as the maintenance of existing clients. In partnership with an Internal Consultant deliver an exceptional client service to business clients and being a connector and an “enabler” for client’s needs into the other divisions of our client’s Group, for example, Business, Private Bank and Wealth & Investment.

Responsibilities:

Sales and Relationship Management:

  • Marketing and sales of all Business Banking products across lending, cash, forex and transactional as per allocated budget
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in the Group to acquire/convert clients (Business, Coverage, Private Banking, and Treasury Sales and Structuring)
  • Identifying clients' needs, presenting and implementing these solutions, as well as enabling clients to utilize our client’s digital platforms (online and mobile)
  • Driving proactive client contact and managing client expectations
  • Attending deal/credit forums with lending product areas when required
  • Entertaining of key or potential clients at events

Requirements:

  • The incumbent would need to have a Diploma or Degree, and/or FAIS accreditation, with 3 – 5 years' financial services experience in a frontline/similar role (preferably having dealt with business clients with a turnover between R 600 m +
  • In-depth understanding of Transactional Banking (Card acquiring, Debit Order collections service, Host to Host, e-Commerce, Forex, Cash Investments)
  • The incumbent will need to drive product cross-sell and utilization
  • Good understanding and interpretation of Financial Statements
