We're looking for a hands-on AV pro to join our team and take our live productions to the next level. If you know your way around cameras, sound, lighting, and especially vMix + livestream workflows, this role is for you. You'll set up, run, and troubleshoot multi-camera live broadcasts, ensuring a seamless experience for both in-person and online audiences.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Live Stream Production:
- Set up, configure, and operate AV equipment (cameras, microphones, lighting, switchers, encoders) for YouTube live streams - vMix is essential
- Manage and monitor the entire live streaming process, ensuring high-quality video and audio throughout the broadcast.
- Troubleshoot technical issues in real-time to prevent or minimize interruptions during live streams.
Coordinate with content creators, hosts, and guests to ensure smooth production flow and content delivery. Implement business suggestions and strategies
Technical Management:
- Maintain and test all AV equipment before each live stream to ensure functionality.
- Monitor streaming metrics and adjust settings as necessary to maintain optimal performance.
- Ensure the live streaming platform (YouTube) is correctly configured.
- Keep up with technological developments in streaming software and hardware to continuously improve the live streaming experience.
- Implement business suggestions and strategies
Post-Production & Archiving:
Assist in ensuring quality engagement within comments and feedback from the community on YouTube streams. Assist in post-stream activities, including video trimming, enhancing video quality, and ensuring the recorded stream is properly archived on YouTube.
