We are seeking a newly qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) interested in more than a traditional finance role. This is a unique opportunity to become a finance systems architect, passionate about automating manual tasks, detail-oriented, driven by clarity, and eager to scale accounting functions using technology from the inside out.

You will work directly with the CEO to redesign finance operations, lead accounting software migrations (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks to Zoho Books or vice versa), and ensure accuracy in financial data.

You are meticulous and curious. You:

• Are newly qualified and seeking more than audit or financial management roles.
• Pay close attention to details like rounding errors, duplicates, or mismatches.
• Enjoy mapping, cleaning (using AI and automation tools), and validating accounting data.

• CA(SA) qualified (2024 or 2025).
• High attention to detail—accuracy is critical.
• Strong knowledge or curiosity about accounting systems and migration principles.
• Interest in automation, systems, or low-code tools.

• Experience with platforms like Zoho Books, Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.
• Exposure to finance process automation tools or scripting.
• Projects demonstrating care for structure, quality, and user experience.
• Knowledge of SQL or Python, or curiosity about coding.

• Lead or assist in migrating client accounting systems to platforms like Zoho Books.
• Clean and reconcile historical data, including chart of accounts mapping and transaction integrity.
• Design and test configurations for automated bank feeds, recurring journals, and taxes.
• Ensure data fidelity throughout the migration process.

• Map current processes and identify manual dependencies.
• Design automated, scalable workflows.
• Collaborate with engineers to implement these workflows using Zoho tools and low-code platforms.

• Ensure automated flows align with proper accounting treatment.
• Perform reconciliations and sanity checks at each stage.
• Own the details and resolve discrepancies before proceeding.

• Act as a bridge between finance and engineering teams.
• Participate in meetings to assess needs, design solutions, and recommend actions.
