As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will monitor the effectiveness and quality of outgoing calls and emails to ensure compliance with the company's quality systems and offer daily feedback via verbal & written communication.

Evaluating Call Quality
  • Assist operations in tracking, documenting, and reporting on quality levels
  • Analyse and investigate calls to ensure resolution in accordance with company guidelines and external regulatory requirements
  • Develop or update company procedures to ensure capture, investigation, and proper documentation of complaints
  • Monitor risk-management procedures, and maintain problem logs for identifying and reporting issues to management and product development
  • Provide training and support to the quality assurance team, including systems, policies, procedures, and core processes
  • Interpret, build upon, and comply with company quality assurance standards
  • Carefully maintain complaint and nonconformance processing through records and tracking systems, including root cause and corrective actions
  • Document quality assurance activities with internal reporting and audits
  • Participate in the design of the call monitoring framework, quality standards, and the associated checklists
  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with performance standards and outcomes (e.g., quality, process adherence, and accuracy)
  • Create reports on performance results (individual and team level) to provide to management for development and action plans for agents
  • Prepare and analyze quality reports for management review
  • Provide feedback and input into process, training, and system enhancements based on trends
  • If required, assist with coaching agents based on findings

The Digital Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and compliance of all digital content across various platforms, including social media, paid media channels, and website collateral. This role requires a meticulous individual with a strong understanding of digital standards, brand guidelines, and quality assurance best practices. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining a high-quality digital presence and ensuring a positive user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Digital Content Review: Thoroughly review all digital content (website copy, social media posts, paid advertisements, email campaigns) for accuracy, clarity, grammar, spelling, and adherence to brand voice and style.
  2. Platform Compliance: Ensure all digital content adheres to the specific guidelines and best practices of each platform (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google Ads, etc.), including character limits, image specifications, and advertising policies.
  3. CI / CD Compliance: Verify that all digital assets and content are consistent with the client's Corporate Identity (CI) guidelines, including logo usage, color palettes, typography, and overall brand aesthetic.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in digital marketing, content creation, or quality assurance.
  3. Expert knowledge of digital standards and best practices across various platforms, including social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn), paid media (Google Ads, social media advertising), and website content management systems (CMS).

Santam Broker Solutions has a position available for a Risk Assurance Specialist who will be based at Hill on Empire in Parktown. This position falls under the Quality Assurance function, which operates with a management mandate, providing an independent, objective assurance and advisory services to assist business in enhancing the overall operational governance, quality and service standards. We are looking for a highly professional and driven individual to assume this role reporting to a Quality Assurance Manager.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful incumbent will be required to perform quality assurance and due diligence reviews on all portfolio administration business.
The scope includes:

  • Verification of business partner's application against their underwriting, premium collection, claims mandate finance and systems utilised.
  • Performing quality assurance reviews to provide independent assurance and advisory services to assist business in enhancing their overall operational governance processes, quality and service standards.
  • Support the Business to discharge their responsibilities relating to the compliance risk management process as required by relevant regulatory requirements, applicable codes of conduct and minimum standards.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Knowledge of risk management and risk management practice
  • Exposure to a Quality Assurance environment and Internal Audit
  • Underwriting, premium collection and claims business experience
  • Knowledge of FAIS
  • Understanding of the regulatory and business environment of the Short-Term Insurance industry.
  • IT Governance & Information Systems Audit
SKILLS
  • Ability to design, document and perform risk based audits
  • A good knowledge of the business and the ability to evaluate risks
  • Ability to take a holistic view of the organisation in determining and positioning compliance risks
  • Ability to identify strategic issues through critical reasoning
  • Ability to effectively influence across all relevant levels within the business unit, including senior and middle business management.
  • Ability to effectively plan and set priorities for self and engagement team
  • Results oriented with a strong deadline focus
