This is a shared role between the Investment Management and Enterprise Risk Management teams, providing vital support in investment data quality, risk analytics and financial risk management processes.
You will play an instrumental role in maintaining a trusted, best-in-class investment dataset to support asset allocation, portfolio management and reporting. The role will also involve close collaboration with teams in the US and Bermuda, with the potential to lead a small team locally in South Africa.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse and communicate key drivers of risk and performance.
- Oversee stress results and provide insights into asset portfolio risk.
- Develop and maintain risk and analytics tools.
- Conduct investment data validation, verification and improvement.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues while implementing preventative solutions.
