Role Purpose:

To ensure the development and implementation of Total Integrated Management Systems in line with legislative requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• National Diploma or Degree in Food Technology/ Biotechnology or Environmental Health.

Required Experience:

Key Responsibilities:

TIMS:

• Development and Implementation of TIMS requirements.
• Maintains Rainbow TIMS to ensure risk management, sustainability, continuous improvement and commercial benefits, improvement of product quality, food/feed safety, animal welfare and customer satisfaction.
• Implements and maintain TIMS documentation including legal documents. Chair and facilitates systems related meetings.

Audits (Internal):

• Compiles and maintains internal audit schedules, ensuring high risk areas are prioritized.
• Schedule audits with relevant managers to ensure participation and clear communication.
• Conducts internal audits across the supply chain as per audit schedule.
• Communicates audit findings to management. Arrange follow up audits with relevant managers.
• Verifies audit findings, ensure that they are effectively closed off.
• Analyze and trend audit findings to identify/close gaps and risks.

Audits (External):

• Understands the criteria required for external audits across all divisions.
• Participates in audit regional suppliers as and when required.
• Verifies audit findings, ensure that they are effectively closed off.

Communication and Reporting:

• Completes TIMS reports, distribute to relevant managers/role players. Complets TIMS monthly reports on compliance issues and progress.
• Compile Management reviews presentations.

• Assist HR department and Functional Management in identifying training needs and skills development requirements.
• Support other SHERQ team members to achieve objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure correct Asset Tree Structures and asset identification,
• Identify fit for purpose Maintenance strategies, tactics and plans including SOPs for different Asset classes (Preventative Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance, Proactive Maintenance, etc.), update these from RCFA where applicable,

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Reliability Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in enhancing the reliability and performance of our manufacturing processes and equipment. You will be responsible for implementing reliability engineering practices to minimize downtime, improve operational efficiency and implementing an asset/maintenance management system and plant support.

Key Performance Areas

Reliability Analysis

· Conduct reliability assessments of manufacturing equipment and processes to identify potential failure modes and areas for improvement.

· Utilize statistical analysis and reliability modelling techniques to predict equipment performance and lifespan.

Preventive and Predictive Maintenance:

· Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to ensure optimal equipment performance and reduce unplanned downtime.
