Opportunity Details
People in the Information and Technology teams possess comprehensive knowledge of computer software, hardware, and networks. They are responsible for designing, organizing, modifying, and supporting our company’s IT infrastructure.
DevSecOps Engineers ensure the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. They collaborate with developers to deploy and manage code changes and work with operations staff to ensure systems are operational. They have a deep understanding of development and operations processes and a strong technical background.
What you will do:
You will work closely with the IT Team to develop high-quality IT solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Working with our CEO and teams, your volunteer role includes:
Functionality: Collaborate with business lines and IT to determine requirements for new software or applications (Device Management, Developer Studio, etc.).
Methodologies: Use tools and methodologies to create representations for functions and user interfaces of desired products.
Project Scoping:
- Understand customer requirements and project KPIs.
- Plan team structure, activities, and involvement in project management.
- Manage stakeholders and external interfaces.
- Mentor and guide team members.
- Coordinate and communicate within the team and with customers.
Project Implementation:
- Implement development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure.
- Define and set development, testing, release, update, and support processes for DevSecOps.
- Set up tools and infrastructure.
Infrastructure Review:
- Review, verify, and validate software code.
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs.
- Monitor processes and improve them.
- Build automated processes where possible.
- Deploy cybersecurity measures and perform vulnerability assessments.
- Manage incidents and perform root cause analysis.
Deployment & Integration:
- Select and deploy CI/CD tools.
- Build continuous integration, development, and deployment pipelines.
Customer Experience:
- Monitor and measure customer experience and KPIs.
- Report progress to management and customers.
Education and Experience
Skills and Requirements:
- Fluent in English.
- Excellent communication and record-keeping skills.
- Interest in technology and quick learner.
- Self-starter with results-driven attitude.
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and outgoing.
- Professional demeanor, excellent verbal and written skills.
- Access to a PC/Laptop and Internet.
Acquired Skills:

You will work closely with the IT Team to provide a framework for the development of software or system that will result in high quality IT solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Working with our CEO and teams, your volunteer role includes:
Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
Create and maintain software documentation
Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site
Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent
Education and Experience
Skills and Requirements
Fluent in English
Undergraduate degree or similar education in Software Development, or IT.
Solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices.
Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process.
Excellent communication skills and record keeping.
Interest in technology and the ability to quickly learn new products and features.
Self-starter with a strong commitment to driving results.
Enthusiastic, initiative-taking, and outgoing personality that is comfortable in a competitive environment.
