About
As the Data Analytics Lead at Lokalise, you will spearhead our data analytics initiatives and foster a data-driven culture across the company. Your leadership will ensure that comprehensive, end-to-end analytics support our product and growth strategy, empowering decision-making and innovation at every level.
This full-time, remote role demands a visionary leader passionate about leveraging data to unlock insights, optimize performance, and drive growth.
You Will
- Build and Mentor: lead a team of data analysts and scientists, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Lead and Expand Analytics Vision: develop and implement a comprehensive analytics strategy that aligns with our product and growth objectives, overseeing all aspects of company data analytics from collection to interpretation.
- Build and consolidate our data foundations ensuring the data analytics team’s present and future, enhancing and consolidating future analysis.
- Develop and Maintain a Single Source of Truth: own the design, development, automation, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards on the key drivers of our business
- Foster Data-Driven Culture: champion the use of data in strategic decision-making, ensuring data accessibility and literacy across all departments.
- Collaborate and Influence: work closely with finance, product, engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure that analytics insights inform product development, go-to-market strategies, and customer experiences.
- Work hand-to-hand with our Product team to define our Tracking plan, and make sure we observe and understand our users across the product funnel 360º.
- Drive Innovation: Identify opportunities for data to create competitive advantage and support new product features or business models.
- Ensure Data Integrity: Oversee the development and maintenance of robust data infrastructure, data governance policies, and privacy standards to ensure data accuracy and security.
You Must Have
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in data analytics, preferably in a product-led growth company, with a proven track record of leveraging data to drive decision-making and growth.
- Strong leadership skills with experience building and managing analytics teams.
- Proficiency in analytics and data tools and technologies (e.g., SQL, Python, Metabase, DBT, Kafka, etc.) and knowledge of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable strategies across different organizational levels.

Minimum Requirements:
- Degree/ Diploma in Information Technology
- Experience with Video Analytics, computer vision, YOLO, OpenCV or other deep learning technologies
- Tertiary qualification in Machine Learning principles and implementation
- A minimum 5 years experience in an IT role
- Experience with IP video management systems and video analytics
- Experience working with IP video surveillance cameras.
