The Team The People Analytics team leverages Deel’s people data to improve the working conditions for our employees. You will be linking a wide variety of challenging data sources together for the People Analytics Team members. They’ll use this data to create dashboards, reports, and the data science for our HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, HRBP, and People Success teams. Partner with other members of the team to help grow and upskill their analytics engineering capabilities. What you’ll need to be successful in this role: Proficiency in a data engineering tech stack: 5+ years of experience writing complex, performant, readable SQL to process and transform large scale data sets. Experience with DBT core. Experience with Snowflake desired (or other cloud database platform). Experience with workflow management frameworks like Airflow, Luigi, Dagster, etc. You are proficient in Python and/or another data centric language. You are familiar with dimensional data modeling techniques and best practices. You have an eye for detail, good data intuition, and a passion for data quality. You appreciate the importance of great documentation and data debugging skills. You are comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment with ambiguous requirements. Technical Skills & Best Practices:

• Use Git for version control and implement CI/CD pipelines.
• Write and maintain technical documentation for APIs and libraries.
• Develop RESTful APIs, optimize database queries, and implement caching strategies.
• Ensure secure data transmission and implement authentication/authorization mechanisms.
• Gather user feedback, and refine applications based on insights.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree, BTech or Advanced Diploma in Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering
• In the event that you do not have a bachelor’s degree or an advanced diploma (in Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering), an equivalent experience requirement must be met, which equates to a minimum of 6 years of operational support experience in a software/technology environment.
• 2 years of operational support experience in a software/technology environment
• In-depth understanding of best practices relating to system support and monitoring
• Experience building applications with Low-code builders (eg. Flutterflow, Appgyver, etc.)
• Good database knowledge, including the ability to write and optimize complex queries using SQL.
• Experience with one or more system monitoring and alerting system
• Experience designing and developing reports
• Server and Networking experience beneficial
• Understanding and experience in one of the following environments will be beneficial: Supply Chain & Logistics, WMS
• Prior experience within an ecommerce company or warehouse experience will be beneficial

The Advanced Analytics Manager is a key leadership role within the Engineering Data department, responsible for overseeing a team of data analysts who support various business units across the group of companies.
