We are an independent agricultural consultancy business that supports farmers with fertilizer programs, irrigation scheduling, crop protection, and farm management advice. Our focus is on building long-term farmer trust and improving productivity through professional, science-based guidance.

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Junior Agricultural Consultant to service vegetable farmers in Gauteng and North West. You will work directly with farmers, visiting each client monthly, providing on-farm advice, and reporting back on crop progress. You will also assist in product trials and data collection.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular farm visits.
  • Scout for nutrient deficiencies, pests, and diseases.
  • Assist with fertilizer and irrigation recommendations.
  • Build strong farmer relationships and represent our brand professionally.
  • Submit written reports after each visit (in English).
  • Support in trials, demonstrations, and technical presentations.
Requirements
  • 3–5 years’ experience in agronomy, vegetable production, or fertilizer/chemical technical sales.
  • Degree/Diploma in Agriculture (preferred, but relevant experience considered).
  • Comfortable with fertilizer programs, irrigation, and crop scouting .
  • Afrikaans + English (fluent) .
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Based in Gauteng or North West (must be close enough to service both provinces).
  • Strong communication skills
  • Practical, hands-on, problem-solving attitude.
