Our client is seeking an Africa Sales Manager (Building Supplies) to join them in Pretoria, Gauteng. Note that this is an international sales position . The successful incumbent will be responsible for:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to penetrate the SADC market effectively, focusing on company products.
- Identify and evaluate potential markets, customers, and opportunities within the SADC region.
- Build routes to market from scratch, establishing distribution channels and partnerships to ensure market coverage and penetration.
- Conduct market research to understand local trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
- Travel extensively within the SADC countries to meet with potential clients, negotiate contracts, and build long-lasting relationships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient order processing, logistics, and delivery of products to customers.
- Manage and oversee export agents, providing support, guidance, and training as needed.
- Monitor sales performance, track key metrics, and prepare regular reports for management review.
- Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and market dynamics affecting the SADC region.
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is favourable.
- 5-10 years of proven experience in sales, specifically within the SADC countries.
- Demonstrated success in building routes to market and expanding business from scratch within the SADC region.
- Existing relationships and an established sales network within the SADC countries are highly preferred.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the SADC region.
- Familiarity with export regulations, customs procedures, and international trade practices.

Boxes For Africa is looking to fill the position of an Internal Sales Representative. The incumbent will report to the Regional Sales Manager and will be based in Parow. The Internal Sales role is to process sales orders and communicate all important information to both external customers and internal departments. With high levels of attention to detail, the Internal Sales person's key function is to ensure the administration of the customer’s order is processed correctly through the company’s processes.
Duties & Responsibilities- Creates Sales and Purchase Orders in the ERP/MIS system.
- Provides constant communication with customers and sales reps to ensure accurate information is supplied to the various departments and in turn meet the customers’ expectations.
- Creates and checks works orders for production.
- Liaises with Estimating to check the costs and prices are correct on the P_Codes.
- Responds to Sales Reps and Customers by answering production queries via email or telephone in a professional manner.
- Sends relevant requested documentation to Customers or Production (e.g. Order confirmations, Proforma Invoices, etc).
- Receives inbound sales inquiries and forwards quote requests, products and/or service information to the relevant person.
- Is proactive and follows up on order status to keep the customer informed.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and sense of urgency to complete tasks; and Self-management.
- Grade 12; print estimating would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of the raw materials the company buys.
