This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Speech Language Pathologist located in Northmead and will be servicing multiple sites . The Speech Therapist will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. They will work closely with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop personalized therapy plans, monitor progress, and provide guidance and support.

About the Role
In your role as a volunteer speech-language therapist you can offer:
- direct or indirect patient care in various departments of a public hospital and/or surrounding clinics
- postgraduate support to medical staff in training
- skills development and/or formal teaching for local staff
- administrative or management support, including clinical and quality improvement projects
- develop health interventions and protocols alongside local staff
- community outreach
Our clinical team will work with you to develop a personalized volunteer schedule that combines your skills and experience with the needs of various hospital departments and clinics in the area.
Length of placement:
