Key Purpose
:
The Finance Director will play a critical leadership role in overseeing the financial strategy, management, and operations of the organisation. This position is responsible for ensuring financial sustainability, providing strategic insights, and delivering accurate financial reporting to support business growth and decision-making. Responsibilities:
Strategic Alignment to Business Objectives
- Develop and Implement Local Finance Strategy: Lead the creation and execution of the finance strategy within the local bottling operation, ensuring alignment with CCBA's finance goals and supporting operational objectives.
Financial control
- Fiduciary accountability under financial control, focusing on compliance with internal controls, credit management, sign off on local reporting, support for local audit, and management of services levels from shared services.

Financial Planning & Analysis

- Deliver Financial Results and Analysis: Provide comprehensive month-end results and analytical reporting to the Group Office and local directors, generating actionable insights to drive value.
Customer-Centric Business Partnering
- Develop a customer-centric finance function that provides decision support and constructive challenges to deliver results.

PURPOSE:
To deliver a combination of Financial Leadership, Control, Governance, Reporting and Insights to
internal and external stakeholders with the objective of both protecting the assets of the business

Key Performance Areas:
- Build, support, lead and manage a Finance team
Ensuring demonstrable governance, control and reporting of financial, commercial and

- Manage Systems, Processes and Controls
Use, develop, optimise and/or ensure that all financially related systems, processes and
controls are working to both protect the assets of the company and deliver information and

- Planning and Organisation

material cost reduction change programme being driven at present.
- Capex Control
Manage capex expenditure ruthlessly, ensuring all items are presented in demonstrable
business cases delivering appropriate returns.
- Treasury and Taxation
Manage the treasury function and taxation aspects of the business, in particular the monthly
cash flow demands of the business - providing professional forecasts on cash-flow and
possible needs for shareholder support as well as ensuring tax optimisation/efficiency across
the SH Aqua Group
- Risk Management
Manage, control and report (internally and to SH Group) on Aqunion Group risks, including
managing and controlling insurance cover and claims, FX Hedging, Inventory and working
capital risks.

REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES:
- Relevant tertiary qualification and Professional registration (B Comm CA(SA) / SAICA)
- Essential experience: 7 years in a senior financial leadership role.
- Desirable experience: 5 years in senior financial leadership role within FMCG or Agriculture
industry. Understanding of Biological Fair-Value accounting methods and processes.
